探究一:形容词副词比较级的用法。
当两个人或两件事物进行比较时,一个比另一个更……,形容词和副词要用比较级,也就是词尾-er形式,比较级常常用than来连接被比较的两个人或事物。e.g. I am shrter than yu.

探究二:形容词副词同级比较的用法。
当两个人或两件事物进行比较时,①表示“一方与另一方一样”时,用短语as +adj.\adv.(原形) as ,
eg: Amy is as tall as Peter. This film is as interesting as that ne.
1.A + be动词\have+ as +形容词的原级 + as +B
2.A + 行为动词+ as +副词的原级 + as +B
e.g: Peter runs as slwly as Tny. Tara wrks as hard as Tina.

探究三:形容词副词比较级形式的变化构成规则。
形容词、副词比较级的不规则变化:
gd – better well – better bad – wrse badly – wrse many / much – mre little – less far – farther / further
比较级,要变化,一般词尾加er。(lng-lnger, tall-taller)词尾若有哑音e, 直接加r就可以。(nice-nicer)重读闭音结(尾)、单辅音字母要双写。(ht-htter, big-bigger, thin-thinner)辅音字母若加y, 记得要y变i。(happy-happier, funny-funnier) 多音节更容易,词前加mre 更好记。(utging- mre utging)
比较级(形容词/副词)的构成口诀
探究四: 句型Which/ wh…, A r B? “哪个/ 谁更……,A还是B?”
当询问两者中谁更 / 哪一个更 / 什么更……时,常用句型“Wh / Which / What + be+ 形容词比较级, A r B?”和“Wh / Which / What + 行为动词 + 副词比较级, A r B?”Which is better, the red pen r the black pen? Wh dances better, yu r yur sister? Which T-shirt is nicer, this ne r that ne? Wh is mre active, Mary r Kate?Which ne is mre ppular amng students, ging t cncerts r ging t mvies?
探究五:形容词副词比较级的其他用法
1. 形容词和副词的比较级可以单独使用。e.g. Are yu feeling better tday? Try t d better next time.
2. 形容词和副词的比较级前可以用a little,much,a lt, even, far, still等词语修饰,表示“……的多”, “甚至……”, “更……”, “……一些”。但不能用very, s, t , quite 来修饰。The jacket is a little / much cheaper than the sweater.Can yu speak a lt mre ludly? Tday’ weather is even clder.
3. “比较级+and+比较级”意为“越来…, 越…” 。多音节比较级用“mre and mre+形容词原级”形式。如:It’s getting wrse and wrse. The grup became mre and mre ppular.
4. 表示越….,就越…..时,使用句型:The +比较级,the +比较级The mre fd yu eat, the fatter yu will be.
5. A+ …+the+比较级+ f the tw 复数名词,表示“两者之间最….的一个(f the tw)” The bk is the mre interesting f the tw.
6. 比较级结构表示最高级含义。
1) Wang Ming is taller than any ther student in ur class. 王明比我们班任何别的学生都高。(王明是我们班里最高的。) 2) Bill is lder than the ther bys in his class. 比尔在他班里年龄比其他男孩都大。(比尔在他班里年龄是男孩中最大的。)
用比较级形式表达最高级的意义:(1)形容词/副词比较级+ than+ any ther+单数名词。(2)形容词/副词比较级+ than+ the ther+复数名词(the thers)。
比较级中为了避免重复,用the ne/the nes/thse替代可数名词;用that 替代不可数名词。
This pen is shrter than that ne.The weather here is much htter than that f Shanghai.The cars made in Tianjin is much mre ppular than thse in Shanghai.
8. 进行比较的人和物必须是同一类。
My bks are mre than yurs. I have mre bks than yu.
