Structured reviewing means cntinuus(持续的) reviewing f what we have learned in rder t better understand it. We all agree that peple frget infrmatin they have learned if they dn't review it in time.
Chart f Steps f“Structured Reviewing”
Memrize five sentences with new wrds→ 82 →Review them nce a day fr 5 days→ Review them nce a week→Review them nce a mnth
Learn five new wrds every day. We can learn five different sentences with a new wrd in each sentence. On the first day in the early mrning, we can write them dwn a few times while reading them alud s that we can memrize them.
Mrever, we need t review them six times a day, including after the first lessn, after lunch at the schl and after dinner.
On the secnd day in the early mrning, we get ver the first day's sentences. Then we learn five new sentences with five new wrds just as we did the day befre.
Fr each day's sentences, after we have reviewed them fr five cntinued days, we just need t review them nce a week. Then nce a mnth.
Thrugh this methd, we stre them in ur lng-term memry and will never frget them.
Result f using this methd
I used t hate new English wrds. I became even angry when I lst pints because f the wrds. But there was n use——new wrds culdn't be avided. S, I. changed my ways f memrizing the wrds. Nw I review them in time. It seems t wrk well.---Frank
