Wrld Envirnment Day began in 1972. It’s rganized by the U.N. every year in different cuntries. Its aim is t remind peple t prtect the envirnment.

pick up 捡起,拾起pick up为动副型短语,接代词作宾语时,代词必须放在pick 和up的中间。e.g. A pen is n the flr. Culd yu pick it up? 有一支笔在地上,你能把它捡起来吗? I’ll pick yu up at 5:30 this afternn. 今天下午五点半我开车来接你。

pllutin n. 污染 不可数名词常用短语:light pllutin 光污染 air pllutin 空气污染pllute v. 污染 pllute sth. with/by We shuld nt pllute ur rivers with waste. 我们不应该用废弃物污染我们的河流。
4. Each student culd clean up a bit f the schlyard.
(1) clean up 打扫;把……打扫干净clean up是动副型短语,代词放中间,名词放中间或后边。e.g. Lk at yur desk! Clean it up! 看看你的桌子!把它清理干净!
(2) a bit f 一点儿 可作定语修饰不可数名词,还可在句中作状语,可修饰动词、形容词、副词和比较级,相当于a little。e.g. He nly has a bit f mney. 他只有一点儿钱。 This pair f shes is a bit f/a little expensive. 这双鞋有点儿贵。

explain v. 解释常用结构:explain sth. t sb. 向某人解释某事 explain+从句 解释…… explain neself 把自己的意思表达清楚e.g. My dad explains his travel plan t us. 爸爸向我们介绍了他的旅游计划。 I explained that I missed the bus. 我解释说我错过了那班公共汽车。

(2) agree with sb. 同意某人(的看法)e.g. I quite agree with yu. 我完全同意你(的看法)。(3) agree n sth. 主要指双方通过协商而取得一致意见或达成协议。e.g. Can we agree n a date? 我们能约定一个日期吗?
