1) Lead-in
① Teacher guides Ss t watch a vide abut mdern China. While watching, Ss try t find ut the new things they can see in it. Fr example, the planes, the cmputers and the tall buildings.
② Teacher asks "What can yu see in the vide?" Then teacher tells that these things are great inventins.
2) Pre-task preparatins
① Ss guess the riddles abut different great inventins such as paper and car.
② T displays the riddles and the pictures f the key wrds "camera" and "watch" ne by ne. Ss guess and get t knw the crrect meanings and prnunciatins f them.
③ Reading practice (catch the pictures)
3) While-task prcedures
① Matching game: Ss watch the vides abut the text and then match the 3 children with their great inventin (Pad). After matching, the whle class check the answers.
② Listen and fill in the blanks: Ss listen and try t get the three great inventins and their usages.
③ Ss read the text individually and lk fr the answer f the questin "What des Je want t invent?"
④ Ss watch the vide again and this time they read after the teacher in the whle class.
4) Pst-task activities
① Retell the text: Ss read the text again. After reading, they try t use the pictures, the hints and the sentences displaying n the screen t retell the text.
They shuld use the patterns "I think ... is a great inventin. Peple can ...".
② Grup discussin: Ss use the pad t drag the descriptins f ther inventins. They can talk and check the answers with their grup members. After discussin, Ss' answers will be shared n the screen.
③ Check the answer and evaluatin.
5) Summary:
Ss make summaries accrding t the blackbard. Teacher guides Ss t knw the imprtance f the great inventins. Teacher als stimulates Ss t create new inventins when they grw up.
