T understand the relatinship between jb lss and rbts, Dahlin surveyed nearly 2, 000 peple abut their views n jbs being replaced by rbts. They were first asked t guess what is the percentage f emplyees whse emplyers (雇主) have replaced jbs with rbts. They were then asked whether their emplyers have ever replaced their jbs with rbts.
The study fund that nly 14% f wrkers say they’ve seen their jb replaced by a rbt. But thse wh have experienced jb displacement due t a rbt verstate the effect f rbts taking jbs frm humans by abut three times.
“Our understanding f rbts taking ver jbs is greatly exaggerated,” says Dahlin. Thse wh haven’t lst jbs verstate it by abut duble, and thse wh have lst jbs verstate it by abut three times. Eye-catching headlines saying a bad future f emplyment have likely verblwn the situatin f rbts taking ver jbs.
The finding fits early studies, which suggest that rbts aren’t replacing wrkers.
