根据第一段“Nearly gne are the days when humans cvered themselves with blankets t keep warm, and it’s nw the age f cvering glaciers (冰川) with blankets t keep them cl because at the rate climate is changing, this seems like a very wrkable idea t keep them frm melting (融化).
根据第三段中的“This helps t reflect the Sun’s energy back int the atmsphere and prevent the glacier frm melting, while als preserving the already fallen snw n the glacier in the previus winter seasn. After the seasn passes, the emplyees remve the cating and fill in the gaps in the glacier’s surface with the snw — nw that is sme cmmitment t Mther Nature! 30. 根据最后一段中的“Saving an entire glacier is a cmpletely different stry. It is actually cstly and ptentially unfavrable t surrunding ecsystems. As a result, such blankets have nly been applied mstly in an effrt t preserve prfitable ski runs. 故选A项。
第一段“Nearly gne are the days when humans cvered themselves with blankets t keep warm, and it’s nw the age f cvering glaciers (冰川) with blankets t keep them cl because at the rate climate is changing, this seems like a very wrkable idea t keep them frm melting (融化).
