本节课创设真实语境，建立文本与生活的联系，提升学生的语言能力。读后通过创设一个情景：假如你是朱辉，请你向你的寄宿家庭介绍一下端午节的来历和习俗，一起分享节日的快乐。这样，学生主动阅读传统节日端午节的欲望就会被激发出来，这样真实自然的语境也建立起补充文本和被补充文本的联系，通过思维导图的形式让学生进行思维扩散，又锻炼了学生的思维品质，最终有利于提高英语学科的核心素养。通过分组讨论并竞争，让学生进行合作学习，真正发挥学生的主体作用。
