Astronaut Catherine Coleman sent a greeting to Wang before the Shenzhou XIII trip. Coleman said, “When you look out the window and see the stars and the earth, billions of women will be looking out that window with you.” Wang carries the spirit of every young woman who dreams of something big.

Bad peer pressure is when teens feel pressured to do something that they know is wrong, such as smoking, drinking, or drugs, and it can remain with them into adulthood. This is the main reason teens have to learn how to deal with it.
Some of the things you can do to deal with peer pressure include:
    ● Choose friends who share your values. Good friends use positive peer
pressure to help you be your best self.
    ● Keep away from situations where people are doing things you don’t
    want to do.
    ● Think about your reasons for doing things. Are they good reasons? Are
you being true to yourself and your values?
    ● Practice ways of saying no, giving excuses if necessary.
    ● Talk to your parents, or other trusted adults, about the kinds of peer pressure you face, and listen to their advice.
    ● Let the adults know when you need help to get out of a bad situation, and don’t know what to do about it.
Remember that if just one teen stands up to (对抗) peer pressure, usually others will join him or her. Learning to deal with peer pressure will make you confident and mature.

Our first expression is “in the red.” It is another way of saying that a business is losing money. In the past, numbers in the records of a company were written in red to show a loss. A business magazine recently published a report about a television company. The report said the company was still in the red but was able to cut its loss from the year before.
You can often tell from their faces if the businessmen are in the black or in the red.
A profit ( 盈 利 ) by a business is written in black numbers. So a company that is “in the black” is making money. An international news service reported that a private hospital in Australia announced(宣布) it was “back in the black with its first profit in three years.”
Another business expression is “run on the bank.” That is what happens when many people try to get back all their money from a bank. A “run on the bank” usually happens when people believe there is a danger that the bank may fail or close.
Newspaper reports about a banking crisis(危机) in Russia used that expression. They said the government acted because of fears that the crisis would cause a run on the banks.
“When a run on banks was starting, there was not much they could do,” said a banking expert, “which means they will lose all the money caved in the bank.”
    58. The manager felt ______ because his company has been in the red for 3 years .
    A relaxed B. worried C. pleased D. excited
    59. What can we learn about the television company in Paragraph 1?
    A. It has been in a good condition B. It has been making money.
    C. It has been losing money for years D. It will be in the red next year
    60. The private hospital in Australia .
    A. has been making money these years B. has made money for 3 years
    C. has been in the black for 3 years D. starts to make money this year
    61. People in Russia run on the bank because .
    A. they don’t believe in the banks B. they want to save money there
    C. they are too rude to wait in lines D. they want to take exercise
    D
China Daily introduces some news about Harmony OS.
On June 2, the Chinese telecom giant launched(发行) Harmony OS for smart phones.
Harmony OS is an open— source operating system for phones and other devices. As China’s first self-developed operating system, it was made for Huawei’s wearable devices in August 2019.
The recent launch for smart phones is part of the company’s effort to improve its software products. China Daily said the move is a big step for Huawei, which has been preparing to switch from Google’s Android for a long time.
“Harmony’s development for smart phones will surely be a serious rival(对手) to Google’s Android or Apple’s iOS,” Bradly Blankenship wrote for CGTN.
Wang Chenglu, president of software department at Huawei’s consumer business group, said the goal was to have 300 million devices running Harmony OS in 2021.
“Now, we have hundreds of millions of Huawei mobile phone users. If they upgrade their smart phone systems to Harmony OS and feel that the experience is good, they will stay with our products,” Wang told China Daily.
Harmony OS is designed for the Internet of Things(IoT,物联网) era. It can connect all kinds of IoT devices. It is convenient to develop apps based on Harmnony OS, said Yin Dong, a Beijing-based software developer.
“Unlike Android, which is firstly designed only for smart phones, Harmony OS is for IoT devices including watches, TVs, cars and even ovens, which enables them to easily connect with each other and deliver new functions,” Yin said.
    62. What is Harmony OS? ________
    A. It is an app. B. It is a smart phone.
    C. It is a wearable device. D. It is an operating system.
    63. Which of the following is TRUE about Harmony OS according to the passage?
    A. Harmony OS is China’s third self-developed operating system.
    B. Harmony OS will become an important competitor to other operating systems.
    C. Many other brands plan to switch away from Google’s Android.
    D. There were more than 300 million devices running Harmony OS in 2020.
    64. What does the underlined “they” in Paragraph 7 refer to?

    六、阅读表达(共5题;每小题2分,计10分)
“If you are not fat, you must be thin man.”
“For every minute of breathing, 60 seconds pass.”
“Why do you say I am lazy, in fact, I didn’t do anything.”
Nonsense(废话)? Yes. These sentences look like they make sense, but they actually express no useful information. They are part of a recent internet sentence-making craze(热潮) called “nonsense literature”.
“Nonsense literature” was originally invented by internet users to make fun of the empty, and redundant(累赘的) writing style often used by media and some widely known people. Like any good internet joke, it became a popular word game. Plenty of “nonsense” has been created. “Every time I don’t know what to say, I don’t know what to say.” “Listening to your words is like listening to words.”
Some even said that famous writers like Lu Xun used the style. For example, they said, Lu Xun once wrote: There are two trees in my backyard. One is jujube tree(枣树), and the other is also a jujube tree.
Is it true? Not really. Repetition in writing is not necessarily “nonsense literature.”. Lu Xun’s writing on the jujube tree comes from a piece of his prose(散文). If you have read it, as well as understanding his time of writing, you’d find these repeated lines are powerful, showing that the author was frustrated (挫败) because of social reality.
Actually, “nonsense” and “ literature” are two incompatible words. Nonsense is silly and useless. It will soon be forgotten. But literature is written work considered to have artistic value. It is a spiritual legacy(精神遗产) worth passing down.
Internet crazes like “nonsense literature” might make you laugh for a while. But they will soon disappear. Don’t throw yourself into it. Read some real literature. It will helps us stop talking nonsense.
    根据上面短文的内容回答问题(每个小题答案不超过6个单词)
    74. Do the sentences of “Nonsense literature” reality make sense?
    75. Who was “Nonsense literature” originally invented by?
    76. Where does Lu Xun’s writing on the jujube trees come from?
    77. How did Lu Xun feel when he wrote the sentence about jujube tress?
    78. What can you do to help yourselves stop talking nonsense?
