    “My parents had three, a white ne, then a red ne, and then an range ne. It was the car I grew up with,” said actr Ewan McGregr. “They wuld put us in the back f the Beetle in Sctland and drive t France fr camping hlidays in summer. My first car was a 1978 Beetle and nw I wn tw, parked at my hme in Ls Angeles.”
    McGregr thinks the car's future is electric. He has recently turned his 1978 mdel int a fully electric car. “Mving frward, maybe we'll just have t think; smaller cars, lw emissins (排放), and smething that makes us feel happy,” he says.

    Deepak Chpra is an American authr wh was brn in India in 1946. He is a well­knwn and respected advcate f alternative appraches t medicine. He has written sme 80 bks and prduced several vides that prmte his philsphy f life.
    After a career in cnventinal medicine, he became influenced by Maharishi Mahesh Ygi and adpted an apprach t medicine based n spirituality and cnsciusness. Essentially, he views the human bdy as a whle unit, and by treating the whle, a persn can achieve “perfect health”. He describes this state as being free frm pain, disease, and the aging prcess.
    Fr Chpra, the mental state f a persn affects every ther part f his bdy, including his spirit. Frm this, all aspects f a persn's life are influenced, including his scial life, wrking life, relatinships, and even the envirnment arund him.
    Part f the treatments that Chpra encurages is meditatin (冥想), which aims t calm the mental state f the patient. He als believes that the pwer f the mind can be used t crrect imbalances in the bdy. He suggests that serius illnesses can be cured r psitively affected by the pwer f the mind.
    Chpra's philsphy f life ges beynd just medical matters. Many f his sayings can be applied t everyday life and the pursuit (追求) f happiness. He believes that t achieve happiness—which fr him is the ultimate measure f psitive chices which success requires t be made, and that nly when we are in the right mental state can we d that.
