- 熟练运用词汇:breakfast, lunch, dinner, eleven, twelve
- 在真实的交际语境中熟练运用句型:What time is it? It’s…o’clock. It’s time for…
教学难点:
- 利用句型What time is it? It’s…o’clock. It’s time for…熟练表达时间以及相应的活动。
- 能够掌握补充知识It’s…o’clock a.m./p.m.进行更精准的时间的表达以及更多的动词短语的掌握。
- 能够对自己的一天进行比较合理的时间安排。

教学过程:
Step 1. Warming up
1.Enjoy the song:《What time is it?》、《Wolf, wolf, what’s the time?》
2.Game: Quick response
3. Read the numbers together:依次呈现1-10
Step 2. Presentation
- 依次呈现钟面数字1-10后接着呈现11—eleven,12—twelve(教学)
- Guess and learn
T: what’s this?
Ss: It’s a clock (呈现教学并将钟面贴于黑板上)
T:The clock can tell us time.(出示教学) what time what time is it?(板书)
T:Great, today we are going to learn “Unit 6 What time s it?”(板书课题)
T:Look, what time is it?
Ss: It’s eight.
T:Yes, it’s eight o’clock. 出示教学并与a clock 作比较,o’clock means integral point(整点)(板书句型:It’s…o’clock.)
- Practise: ( ask and answer the time师生)

4. Think and choose

Step 4. Consolidation
1. Retell LiuTao’s day.(由简单的表格切入,再呈现完整的语言扩充。)
2. Watch a short play about Jack’s day.(动词短语适时补充)
3. Get to the top: Always be on time.
A good timetable helps you keep healthy.
Step 5. Homework
1.Copy the new words(抄写下列单词)
breakfast lunch dinner eleven twelve
2. Read the story after the tape 3 times and try to act out the story with your partners.
3. Design a timetable and discuss with your friends in English.(设计时间表)
