【教材分析】
Spring Festival是Unit 7的主题.本单元的重点是学习春节习俗的英语表达,并与他人谈论,交流,介绍春节这一话题Lesson 3They will say "Happy Spring Festival."主要通过Jenny和Danny去乡村,在Li Ming的爷爷奶奶家过春节,介绍中国传统的过年习俗,感受浓浓的节日气氛.
地位:本单元中Lesson1,用对话的方式,采用一般现在时来描述春节习俗.Lesson2同样采用对话的方式,用一般过去时回忆讲述去年春节的活动.本课Lesson3用图文结合的形式,以阅读篇章的方式,用will谈论今年春节的活动,是对前两课的拓展提升.
【学情分析】
从心里特征方面说,五年级学生对春节非常熟悉,喜欢以及期盼,他们的节日经验很丰富.凭借喜欢与兴趣,他们能积极参与课堂活动,与老师进行良好互动.
从认知经验方面说,本部分知识是在了解了西方文化的基础上进行学习的,春节活动的短语前两课也已学过,同时,本册Unit 6Lesson2I will put the light on the tree.已经学习过用will表达将来的计划,打算,因此,学生的知识储备比较丰富.
【教学目标】
1.知识目标
(1)在文本语境中感知,理解核心词汇: Ask, lucky money, eve, early, next.
(2)在文本语境中感知,理解核心句型: They will eat jiaozi. They will set off fireworks. They will wear new clothes. They will say "Happy Spring Festival." They will get lucky money.
(3)继续学习用will表达一般将来时.
课标依据:《课标》"语言知识目标":学习有关本级话题范围的单词,并能初步运用;在具体语境中理解和运用有关春节话题的语言表达形式.
2.技能目标
(1)能正确理解文本,并能流利朗读.
(2)能在语境中听,说,认读并初步运用单词ask, lucky money, eve, early, next.
(3)能在语境中听,说,认读并初步运用核心句型They will say "Happy Spring Festival."等句型描述有关春节的活动.
(4)能尝试复述课文,巩固将来时.
课标依据:《课标》"语言技能目标"二级标准:能在教师的帮助和图片的提示下描述或讲述简单的小故事.
3.情感目标:通过描述My happy Spring Festival引发学生热爱传统节日,感受与家人朋友在节日中的快乐.
【教学重难点】
1.重点:用They will say "Happy Spring Festival."等句型描述有关春节的活动.
2.难点:用will描述春节的打算.
【教学方法】
1.教法:直观演示法,情景教学法和任务型教学法.利用图片,实物,视频等手段进行直观演示,激发学生的学习兴趣,从而对知识有初步的感知.通过创设一定的语境和布置相应的任务,搭建语言支架,帮助学生进行知识的综合运用.
2.学法:本课为阅读课,在学习过程中,我注重指导学生在略读中理解文本大意,在精读中理解语篇,并对学生进行阅读技巧的渗透.
【教学过程】
Ⅰ.Preparation热身(3mins)分两步.
Watch and answer.
1.T: Today, let's continue to talk about the Spring Festival. Firstly, let's enjoy a video.
What do they do?
2.S: They set off fireworks.
They buy flowers.
They eat jiaozi.
They have lion dance.
They have dragon dance.
补充:toll bell(敲钟)make steam-bread(蒸馒头) have a play(表演)
设计意图:营造热闹,祥和的氛围,唤醒学生对于春节习俗的记忆.
Ⅱ.Presentation呈现(14mins)分三步.
1.Look and say.学习第一段
(1)出示lesson2图片 T: Last class, we know they are talking about Li Ming's last Spring Festival. They had a big dinner. They set off fireworks.... This year, Li Ming will go to his grandparents' house in the country.
(2)出示课文第一幅图片介绍Li Ming is in the country. Jenny and Danny are in the country, too. They are very excited... 出示第一段内容,听音跟读.
2.Read the text quickly and answer. (快速阅读课文回答)学习第二段
What will they get? They will get lucky money. (板书)学习lucky money.
拿出lucky money, T: Jenny will get lucky money. Danny will get lucky money.
Who will get lucky money? 发给学生作为奖励.Are you happy? 出示第一段内容,学习ask,听音跟读.
3.(1)Listen Paragraph 3, 4and find the time.(听读3,4段录音,找出图片对应的时间)
T: Let's come to Picture 3and
4.The first picture, when is it?
S: On the eve of the Chinese New Year
(1)学习eve 教读时间短语,学生示范,跟读
T: The second picture, when is it?
S: Early the next morning
(2)学习early, next教读时间短语,学生示范,跟读
(3)Read Paragraph 3, 4and match.(仔细读第3,4段,将短语放到相应的时间下面)
T: What will they do? Please put the phrase under the time, like this? 老师张贴短语Firstly, let's read... Then, let's match. Who want to try?
(4)学生上台将短语摆放在对应的时间下面.Is he right? You did a good job! Give you lucky money.
5.(1)Ask and answer.
T: What will they do?
S: On the eve of the Chinese New Year, they will eat jiaozi with the family.(板书)
They will set off fireworks.(板书)
T: Why do they set off fireworks? It's the time to welcome the New Year. Five, four... two, one. 播放烟花视频.
Ss: How beautiful! Wonderful! Are you excited?
师生问答,练习.
(2)Watch and answer
T: What will they do? Let's watch the video.
Ss: Early the next morning, they will wear their new clothes. (板书)
They will go with Li Ming to visit his relatives. (板书)
They will say "Happy Spring Festival". (板书)
师生问答,练习.
Ⅲ.Practice练习(7mins)有两个活动.
1.听音跟读,提醒学生模仿课文的语音语调,并有感情的朗读课文.
2.自选段落,小组合作,朗读课文.
3.T: Let's come to the turntable. Ready, go. This Paragraph, which group wants to read. You are correct. Great. Wonderful.
Ⅳ.Production拓展(10mins)描述My happy Spring Festival.
1.Read the picture book <The Spring Festival in Zibo>
T: We know Li Ming, Jenny and Danny's Spring Festival. Let's read... Firstly, I will read. Now, Let's read together.
2.My Happy Spring Festival.
(1)T: Do you know, when is the Spring Festival in 2016? It's on February the 8th.
I'm very happy! I'll do these things. I'll... What will you do? Pay attention to this year. Take out your paper and talk with your partner.
S: I will...
(2)You can do many things. It's interesting. Sounds great. You have a good idea. Maybe I will try. Just do it.
Who has got lucky money? Show! Are you happy? Do you like Spring Festival?
At the Spring Festival, The family get together. We will play with our friend. We're very happy!
【作业布置】
1.继续完成制作有关春节习俗的绘本.
2.上网查阅各地的春节习俗,进一步了解传统文化.
