【教学过程】
Ⅰ.Preparation:
1.教师快速呈现前两课所学单词和词组,如: reading, French, watch films, busy, gym, photo 等,学生抢答,复习已学知识.
2.教师与学生交流: What's Lucy's new school like?引导学生回忆上一课的内容并用there is/ are…来回答.
Ⅱ.Presentation:
1.教师出示listen and say 部分的教学挂图,介绍情景: Lucy 正通过互联网给Liming 展示自己班级的照片,当Liming看到照片时,提出一个问题,引出本课课题: How many pupils are there in your class?
教师播放录音或教学光盘,引导学生回答: There are twenty.
教师问学生们同一问题,引导 学生根据班级人数回答: There are...
2.教师提问What are in Lucy's classroom?
(1)引导学生结合图片快速浏览第二段课文,找出答案: There are so many books and pictures.
(2)教师提问: What do they do in the classroom?
学生回答: They read books and draw pictures.
3.教师引导学生观察第二三幅图,出示单词卡片group, circle, sit,教授新词.
教师提问:What're they doing in groups?
播放课文录音或教学光盘,引导学生回答: Some are making things. Some are telling stories. 教师教授词组tell stories.
4.教师引导学生看第三幅图,提问: What're they doing in a circle?
引导学生快速浏览课文,回答: They are singing. Sometimes they play games.
5.教师再次播放课文录音或教学光盘,学生模仿跟读,注意语音语调.
Ⅲ.Practice:
1.教师组织学生分组活动,分角色演练对话,并戴上头饰上台表演.
2.请学生看教材let's discuss部分的内容,播放录音或教学光盘,学生模仿跟读后上台展示,最后全班分组操练此部分内容.
3.完成配套练习.
4.句子书写(Let's write).
