Teaching procedures:
Step1. Greetings
How are you today?
Are you happy today?
Step2. Story time
Show a fairy tale book and tell the fairy tale to the students, then lead the students to guess the jobs.
Step3. New lesson
- Learn new words:
Guess the new words by looking at the pictures on the PPT.
Study the new words(大小声,分组读,炸弹游戏) : farmer, cook, worker, doctor, nurse, driver, policeman.
- Learn the key sentences: -What is he/ she?(板书在黑板上)
-He/ She is a farmer/cook/worker...
Practice the sentences by playing games(当炸弹图片贴在一个单词上时,不可以读这个单词,要保持安静;当鼓掌的图片贴在一个单词上时,需要集体鼓一次掌并且不可以读这个单词,设计意图是为了训练学生的注意力和学习能力,增加课堂的趣味性。)
- Playing a game: I say you do.
(Ask some students to the blackboard and put on the headwear and do the actions. T: farmer, farmer, Ss: He/She is a farmer.)
Step4. Practice
- Listen to the dialogue(on page 3) and fill in the blanks.
- Read the dialogue together.(跟读,分组读,分角色读)
- Pair Work:make a dialogue with your partner.
Step5. Emotional education
- Watch a video together.(梦想的力量)
- Ask students: Do you have a dream?
- Activity:
- write down the dreams on the paper and put the dreams into the time box.
- ask some students to talk about their dreams.
- tell students :study hard and try your best,then your dream will come true!
Homework:
1.Share your dreams with your friends after class.
2.Write something about what you want to be.
