设计说明

本课时学习有关中国传统艺术的短文。教学时先从讨论中国传统文化中的艺术形式入手，导入新课，从而进入对课文的阅读和理解，通过完成不同的阅读任务，让学生理解文本内容。

教学目标

通过本课时的学习，让学生达成以下目标：

1. 知识目标：

(1)单词：its, form, balloon, scissors, lively, heat, complete 

(2)短语：Chinese history, sky lanterns, send... out, in trouble, be covered with...,

rise into the air, hot-air balloons, symbols of happiness and good wishes, paper cutting, put... on windows, doors and walls, Chinese clay art, fairy tales, historical stories, at a very high heat, be used for doing/to do sth.

(3)句子：①They are made of bamboo and covered with paper.

②It takes several weeks to complete everything.
