    教学目标
    通过本课节的教学,学生达成以下目标:
    1.知识目标
    掌握单词:part, feeling, robot, camera, smell, finger, player, homework
    接触单词:Robin
    短语和句型:play with
    I have… I can…with it/them.
    He has…He can…with it/them.
    2.能力目标
    (1)能听懂对身体部位的介绍;
    (2)能用have/has介绍身体部位,并能正确说明其功能。
    3.情感目标
    了解自己的身体状况。
    重点难点
    1.重点:掌握本课节的重点单词、短语和句型。
    2.难点:能用have/has介绍身体部位,并能正确说明其功能。

    PPT 课件;表示身体部位的图片;与本课节相关的音频。

    教学过程
    Step 1 Free talk
    Review the words about clothes and colours.
    Have the following conversation between the teacher and students.
    T: Look! What colour is my jacket/...?
    Ss: It’s orange/...
    T: Do I look nice in the orange jacket/...?
    Ss: Yes, you do.
    T: Thanks a lot.
    Step 2 Presentation
    Teach the new words player, camera, smell, finger, homework, part and the phrase do one’s homework.
    Teacher says: Now, look at me and learn the names of body parts.
    I’m a football player. I have two eyes. And my eyes are like two cameras. I have a nose. I can smell with it. I have a mouth. I can talk with it. I have two ears. I can hear you with them. I have two arms, two hands and ten fingers. I can do the homework with them. I have two legs and two feet. I can walk with them. So much for my body parts.

    Step 3 Practice
    1. Practice the words of body parts and the sentences I have…I can…with…using the students’ own body parts individually.
    Then get some of them to speak in front of the class.
    2. Label Robin’s body parts.
    Show the class the robot Robin and
    teach the new words robot and Robin.
    Teacher says: Look! This is a robot. Its name is Robin. Let’s label his body parts.
    (Let’s Do It! No. 2)
    Answers:

    3. Practice the words of body parts and the sentences He has…He can…with… using Robin’s body parts individually. The students can begin with“Robin is a robot. He can…”
    Then get some of them to do it in front of the class.
    Step 4 A guessing game
    Get the class to read the clues and guess the body parts. (Let’s Do It! No. 3)
    1. You have only one. You can smell with it. It’s a _______.
    2. You have only one. You can talk with it. It’s a _______.
    3. You have two. You can walk with them. They are ________.
    4. You have two. You can see with them. They are ______.
    5. You have two. You can hear with them. They are _______.
    Elicit answers by asking individual students to read the sentences out.
    Answers: 1. nose 2. mouth 3. feet / legs 4. eyes 5. ears
    Step 5 Listening and filling
    Get the class to look through the sentences in Let’s Do It! No. 1. Make sure the class can understand them. Then play the recording for the class to listen and fill in the blanks.
    1. I have two big _________. I can _________ with them.
    2. I have one nose and one _________.
    3. I don’t have _________ but I can _________ you.
    4. I can make noodles with my long arms and _________ hands.
    5. I have two long legs and two big feet. I’m a good football _________.
    Play the recording again and pause for the students to write down their answers.
    Answers: 1. eyes; see 2. mouth 3. ears, hear
    4. small 5. player
    Step 6 Reading and answering
    Get the class to read the passage and answer the following questions by themselves.
    1. What’s the robot’s name?
    2. What’s Robin’s camera?
    3. What language can Robin speak?
    4. What’s Robin?
    5. What does Robin like to do?
    6. Can Robin do Danny’s homework?
    Let them discuss their answers in groups.
    Answers: 1. Robin. 2. Robin’s eyes.
    3. English and Chinese. 4. He’s a good football player.
    5. He likes to play and have fun. 6. No, he can’t.
    Step 7 Reading and filling
    Get the class to read the passage and fill in the blanks. Then check them.

    Step 8 Listening, finding and translating
    Play the recording for the class to listen and find the following phrases. Then translate them into Chinese.

    Step 9 Listening,reading and retelling
    1. Play the recording of the passage for the students to listen and the students follow in their books.
    2. Get the class to read the passage individually.
    3. Retell the passage according to the mind map.

    Step 10 Listening and doing (Let’s Do It! No. 4)
    1. Read the poem with the whole class, explain something if necessary. Make sure the class can understand it.
    2. Play the recording for the class to listen and do the actions according to it.
    Step 11 Summary
    Sum up what we’ve learnt in this period with the class.
    1. 表示身体部位的单词

    Step 12 Language points
    1. I can smell with my nose.我能用鼻子闻。

    ① vi. 能闻/嗅到气味
    I catch a cold, so I can’t smell. 我感冒了,所以我闻不到气味。
    ② v. 嗅,闻 。后常接名词或代词作宾语。
    I like to smell flowers. 我喜欢闻花(的气味)。
    ③ link v. 有……的气味,闻起来。后常接形容词作表语。
    The cake smells good. 这蛋糕闻起来很香。
    ④ n. 气味;臭味
    Here comes a nice smell. 飘来了一股香味。
    2. I’m a good football player. 我是一名优秀的足球运动员。
    player n. 运动员;比赛者;选手。其构成为:
    play(v. 玩)+ -er(表示人的名词后缀)→player(n. 运动员)
    类似结构的单词还有:
    teach + -er → teacher老师 work + -er →worker工人
    clean + -er →cleaner清洁工 report + -er →reporter记者
    3. Do you want to play with me? 你想和我一起玩吗?
    ① play with sb. 和某人一起玩
    I often play with Danny. 我常和丹尼一起玩。
    ② play with sth. 玩某物,拿某物玩耍
    Look! The girl is playing with her doll.
    看!那个女孩正在玩她的娃娃。
    4. Can you do my homework for me, Robin?
    罗宾,你能替我做家庭作业吗?
    (1) do one’s homework 做某人的家庭作业。one’s表示形容词性物主代词或名词所有格,也可以用the替代one’s。
    The students do their homework carefully.
    同学们认真地做他们的家庭作业。
    (2) homework 〔不可数名词〕家庭作业。是由home(家)和work(工作)组合而成的合成词。
    The children have some homework to do.
    孩子们有一些家庭作业要做。
