【教学目标】
(一)语言目标
1.词汇:进一步巩固、运用新单词Mid-Autumn, mooncake, nuts, lotus seed, red bean, taste;能听懂、理解新单词poem, gift.
2.句型:能运用“I enjoy ...”表达自己的喜好.
3.语法:能理解、运用“enjoy doing …”.
(二)应用目标
1.能在中秋茶话会的情境中自由表达自己的喜好.
2.能理解课文D部分的故事.
3.能运用有效的阅读策略阅读D部分的文章并回答问题.
【教学重难点】
重点:理解、运用句型“I enjoy ...”;能学会运用阅读技巧scanning进行阅读.
难点:能在实际生活中会运用“I enjoy ...”来谈论自己的喜好;能在运用中注意到enjoy后面的doing这一动词形式.
【教学准备】
单词卡片、教学录音、课件等.
【教学过程】
I. 热身/复习(Warm-up/ Revision)
1.Greetings
2.Brainstorming
教师出示思维导图,核心单词是the Mid-Autumn Festival,四周出示首字母m, I, n等,让学生根据首字母说出完整单词,如mooncake, tea, nuts等,以此复习上节课学习的新单词及其他与中秋节有关的词.
II. 新课呈现(Presentation)
1.Part C: Let's practice
(1)游戏操练:接龙.教师出示与本课有关的单词卡片,进行句子操练,比一比哪组说的句子多.如:
T: A mooncake.
S1: A round mooncake.
S2: It's a round mooncake.
S3: It's a round mooncake. It's sweet.
S4: It's a round mooncake. It's sweet. It tastes good.
S5: It's a round mooncake. It's sweet. It tastes good. I like eating it.
(2)情境创设:中秋茶话会.教师用课件或卡片出示圆月、月饼、赏月诗、家人团聚等图片,让学生感受中秋节气氛.
T: Do you enjoy looking at the moon?
S1: Yes, I do. / No, I don't.
T: What do you enjoy doing at the Mid-Autumn Festival?
S2: I enjoy eating mooncakes.
S3: I enjoy reading poems.(教师帮助学生回答并理解poem.)
…
(3)句型操练:志趣相投的人
教师让学生运用句型“I enjoy doing ...”写出中秋节自己喜欢做的事情,可以是一个或多个句子.完成后,请学生拿着自己的句子和同学交流,找到和自己的句子相同或相似的人,则说明你们彼此有共同爱好,是志趣相投的朋友.
(4)交流与分享:向全班同学展示你找到的志趣相投的朋友,并告诉大家,你们的哪些喜好是相同或相似的,朗读你们的句子.

第一步:Look and say
Who/ What can you see in the picture?
第二步:Read and find
找出含“enjoy doing”的句子.
第二步:Read and answer
(1)Who are “WE” in the sentence above? (针对第二步找出的句子回答)
(2)Who gave Grandfather a gift?
(3)When did Grandfather open the box?
第四步:Think and answer
(1)How many mooncakes did they eat?
(2)How many boxes did Grandfather open?
3.Teaching Tips:Scanning扫读或寻读
(scanning是以最快的速度扫视所读材料,在找到所需信息时再去仔细读该项内容,可用在查找某个人名、地名、时间或地点时,即在寻找特定信息、寻找答题所需内容时.在完成本阅读练习时,第二、三步的问题都可以运用这种方法快速找到答案.)
III. 趣味操练(Practice)
1.好奇大调查:教师为学生准备两个话题:fruit和sports,针对这两个话题在班级展开大调查.
T: Do you enjoy eating fruit? What fruit do you enjoy eating?
Do you enjoy doing sports? Do you enjoy playing basketball?
S1: I enjoy eating apples/…
I enjoy playing football/…
也可由学生分组调查后进行汇报.
2.Group work:
几人一组,把D部分改编成对话,并表演.如:
Grandfather: Look! What's this?
Children: It's a box.
Grandfather: Guess! What's in the box?
Child A: Maybe …
Child B: Maybe it's a mooncake.
Grandmother: Well, let's open it.
Child A: There's a smaller box.
Child B: Oh, another small box!
Grandfather: Maybe it's the last box. Hmm, there's a big round mooncake. Let's enjoy it!
Children: Great!
【作业布置】
1.写一写,比一比:运用句型“I enjoy doing ...”写5个句子,看谁想得妙、写得好.
2.读一读,想一想:运用scanning技巧完成一篇阅读题.(教师可利用配套练习册或练习卷上的阅读题为学生布置该家庭作业.)
