Unit 11 Where's the cat?

【第二课时】

【教学目标】

（一）语言目标:

1．词汇:能听懂、会说、认读where, on, in, under, door, desk, chair, room, bed, wall, window.

2．句型:能熟练运用“Where's…?”和“Is she on/ in/ under…?”向他人询问事物的位置.

（二）应用目标:

1．能在情境中向他人询问和判断事物的方位.

2．能借助插图阅读和理解课文D部分的小故事.

3．能借助头饰,给视频中课文D部分的角色配音.

【教学重难点】

1．重点:能熟练运用“Is it on/ in/ under…?”向他人询问和判断事物的方位.

2．难点:能理解“Let's play hide-and-seek.”.

【教学准备】

单词卡片、白纸、水彩笔、教学音频、教学视频等.

【教学过程】

I. 热身/复习(Warm-up/ Revision)

1．Free talk.

2．Revision.

（1）Point and say.

教师指教室中的事物,学生快速说单词:Wall, desk, chair, door, window, pencil, boo…也可让学生指单词,师生互动、生生互动相结合.

（2）游戏:单词对对碰.

游戏规则:将全班分成四大组,教师给每组一个单词,小组合作快速找出与之同类的其他单词,比比哪组又快又准确.教师可根据学生情况增减单词.

教师可通过卡片或课件出示下列单词:kitchen, book, on, desk, chair, under, in, living room, door, bathroom, pencil, ruler

（3）Ask and answer.

结合A部分课文回答下列问题:

Is the cat under the table?

Is she in the bathroom?

Is she on the chair?

Where is she?

II. 趣味阅读(Let's read)

1．Look and guess.

看D部分图片,猜意思或提出疑问.

2．Listen and repeat.

跟读,教师适时解答疑惑.

3．Read the dialogue aloud．

有感情地朗读故事.

4．Act the dialogue.

小组合作表演或改编对话.

（预测:D部分对话较简单,教师可引导学生充分利用所学的语言改编对话,对于合理改编的小组应给予特别表扬和鼓励.）

III. 趣味游戏(Games)

1．小组活动:The best spy最佳侦探.

四人一组玩“猜猜猜”的游戏.轮流由一名学生藏起一种学习用品并问:“Where's my…?”另外三名学生猜,该用品在哪里:“Is it…?”猜对次数最多的学生为“最佳侦探”.

S1: Where's my pen?

S2: Is it in your pencil-box?

S1: No, it isn't.

S3: Is it under your book?

S1: No, it isn't.

S4: Is it under your chair?

S1: Yes, it is.

（说明:为了让学生更有效地运用新学的单词和句型,教师可先与三个学生合作进行游戏演示,鼓励学生用英语进行交流.）

2．Listen and draw.

（1）教师让学生拿出准备好的白纸和水彩笔,按指令画画.指令内容如下:

Listen and draw.

Draw a table in a room.

Draw a book on the table.

Draw a ruler in the table.

Draw a cat under the table.

（2）用英语说说自己画的画.

（3）教师让学生将他们的画交上来,为学生创设一个自由展示的空间.凡是愿意将绘画展览的同学,统一把画贴在指定的地点,此地点作为英语角（English corner）.

【作业布置】

1．听读课文,抄写B部分单词.

2．将课堂中所画的画配上文字,并将优秀作品展示在教室的英语角.
