一、教学目标

三、教学过程
Step 1 Revision
Ask Ss to look at the pictures and review the fashion show.
【设计意图】通过图片及关键词帮助学生复习课文内容,使学生迅速进入本课教学,也为接下来的教学做好铺垫。
Step 2 Pre-reading
Ask Ss to show their designs.
T: If you go to the fashion show, what will you wear?
【设计意图】通过自由讨论的活动,引导学生思考参加服装秀的衣服,引出本节课的话题。
Step 3 While-reading
1. Ask Ss to read and circle the things for each student.
2. Ask Ss to read and fill in the blanks, paying attention to some important words and expressions.
(1) show sb. sth. / show sth. to sb.
(2) be made of
(3) both of/ both/ both... and...
(4) among/between
(5) look + adj.
【设计意图】通过阅读语篇,完成句子信息填空的活动,引导学生关注语篇中涉及的重点语言知识。
Step 4 Post-reading
1. Ask Ss to complete the conversation.
2. Ask Ss to complete the report about the fashion show.
【设计意图】学生通过完成conversation 和report的练习,复习并学会正确运用重点结构及知识点,同时为接下来的服装设计做好语言上的素材准备。
3. Encourage Ss to design a green fashion show. Then write a passage.
【设计意图】让学生通过课本练习,过渡到谈论如何充分利用生活中的废弃物进行时装设计,在发挥语言的语用功能及小组合作学习方式的同时,培养学生充分利用废弃物的观念,倡导环保生活理念。

Step 6 Homework
1. Improve the passages about their designs for the green fashion show and share them with their partners.
