You'll need
Plastic bottle; Tape; Four coins; Thin plastic tube(管子); Waterproof modeling clay(防水黏土); Small scissors; Tub(盆)



You’ll follow

1. Cut two small holes on one side of the bottle. Tape coins to that side of the bottle.
Remove cap; seal(密封) the tube to the bottle with clay.
2. Fill tub with water; put bottle in and let it fill with water.
3. Gently blow into the tube and watch what happens. Stop blowing and close the tube with your thumb(大拇指). Lift your thumb and watch what happens.

The mind is a wonderful thing. It's also an excuse making machine that frequently tries to make us not to take actions that we know are good for us. And this prevents many positive changes from taking place in our lives.
So why does the mind mess with us and make unreasonable excuses? Because the mind wants comfort, that's the reason. It's afraid of discomfort, pressure and change. The mind is absorbed（沉浸于）in its comfort zone, and anytime we try to stretch(延伸) that zone too far, for too long, the mind tries to get back to ground zero at any cost. It seems too difficult at first, so you think you can’t stick to the positive change you're making. You don't believe in yourself enough to take another step. This is a common excuse that can be countered(反驳) by looking at the fact that other people had no more abilities than you thought you had. Truth be told, the only person who can tell you “I can't” is yourself. If you hear those words repeating in your mind, stop listening or paying attention to them.

①A new report suggests Canada's Western Hudson Bay polar bear population has dropped by 27 percent during the past five years.
②Every autumn, bears living along the western edge of the Hudson Bay pass through the sub-Arctic town of Churchill, Manitoba. The yearly movement has helped make the area's bears one of the most studied groups in the world. Bear-watching adds about $5.3 million to the local economy each year. But a report recently showed by the government in Canada's northern territory of Nunavut found that just 618 polar bears remained in the area in 2021.This represented a 50 percent drop in the population from the 1980s.

One day, Am maar Res hi was playing around with a chatbot called ChatGPT, a computer program using artificial intelligence (AI) to copy the way human beings think and write. Among them, artists were especially critical of it. They think the way the illustrations were made was a big problem. Mid journey searches through millions of pictures created by artists on the Internet. And then it manages to find patterns(式样)in those pictures and create new ones based on the patterns. Artists often upload their work online for people to enjoy. But Mid journey could be using their work without permission(允许) .
