ing结尾的形容词表示令··· ···的，ed结尾的形容词表示对···感到···的，例如interesting表示有趣的，interested表示对···感兴趣的。
Julia thinks maths is very interesting because she is interested in maths.
是指在句子中表示行为或状态特征的词，用以修饰动词、形容词、其他副词或全句，表示时间、地点、程度、方式等概念。
许多adv. 来源于adj. 在adj. 词尾后加上 ly而成。转换遵循三个规则：
1. 直接 + ly : quick — quickly sudden — suddenly warm — warmly
3. 去e加ly : terrible—terribly
2. 以“辅 +y” 结尾, 把y变i, 再加-ly : angry — angrily happy — happily
1. 修饰 v. 表示行为或动作的方式。

1. 一般直接在词尾加 er; est : tall—taller--tallest light—lighter--lightest
2. 以字母e结尾的直接加 r; st : nice—nicer—nicest fine—finer—finest
3. 辅音字母加y结尾的形容词，要变y为i再加er; est : heavy—heavier—heaviest busy—busier--busiest
4. 以重读闭音节结尾且末尾只有一个辅音字母的形容词，要双写末尾的辅音字母再加er; est thin—thinner--thinnestht—htter—httest big—bigger—biggest
5. 多音节形容词或部分双音节形容词变比较级在前面加mre,最高级在前加mst beautiful — mre beautiful — mst beautiful imprtant — mre imprtant — mst beautiful
6. 不规则变换 : 好，坏，多，少，远，老。gd / well → better → best bad / badly / ill → wrse → wrst many / much → mre → mst little → less → least far → farther → farthest（表距离） ld → lder → ldest
