Doctors have long advised patients to do physical activity to help keep their brains healthy.New research suggests that even a simple exercise program might help older people with light memory problems.
Researchers found around 300 inactive older adults with memory changes called mild cognitive impairment（MCI）（轻度认知障碍）.Half of the older adults did acrobic（有氧）exercises,and the rest did light exercise that raised their heart rates a little.
“After a year,testing of cognitive skills showed neither group had worsened,"said lead researcher Laura Baker of Wake Forest School of Medicine in the state of North Carolina.“Brain examinations did not show the shrinkage（收缩）that often goes with worsening memory problems.”
By comparison,similar MCI patients in another long-term study of brain health-but without exercise-experienced cognitive reduction over a year.

Zou Yi, an environmentalist who lives in Beijing, has been filming the air quality near his home using his phone since 2013. For almost ten years till now, he has taken more than two million photos to show Beijing’s major environmental changes. The main purpose of taking these photos is to record the real changes of Beijing’s air quality every day. Once Zou Yi placed 64 photos he had taken together and posted them online, which set off a heated discussion. Most people have probably heard about the country’s action plan for preventing and controlling air pollution. As a result, clear skies and fresh air are returning to cities. The pictures give people a sense of how valuable “blue sky days” are for Beijingers. Days with good air quality made up 81 percent of 2021, up 6 percent from 2015, making China the nation with the greatest air-quality improvement worldwide, according to the official report. The number of the people who follow the daily air quality photos is probably less than 10% of what it used to be. The less attention means that air pollution is not a problem anymore.
