Frty-five minutes was cnsidered an apprpriate amunt f time t supply 12-year-ld me—and 20 ther teenagers—with enugh infrmatin abut eating disrders t last us thrugh high schl. A dcumentary shwn n a dusty VHS tape that had bviusly been in use since the early 2000s, abut tw girls suffering frm anrexia and bulimia, had been my nly surce fr eating disrder awareness fr five years. N reflectin time fllwed, n discussin was started, and n questins were asked.
Flash frward five years—I still knw nthing. It wasn't until I was 16 that I learned, via TikTk, that my daily diet f L000 calries is barely enugh fr a tw-year-ld, let alne a develping teenager. Despite being educated in America's sixth best cunty in educatin, I nly had a single image f what an eating disrder lked like: a skin-and-bnes teenage girl with sunken eyes. Schls arc clearly ill-equipped t educate students n eating disrders and hw they can prevent them.
Teenagers have failed t learn abut the mst cmmn eating disrder in the cuntry because it isn’t taught in many schl curriculums: binge eating disrder (暴食症). It is mre cmmn than anrexia, affecting 2.8 millin Americans, including 1.2 percent f all adlescents. Additinally, it's reprted that males make up 40 percent f thse with binge eating disrder, which cntradicts the existing pinin that nly wmen arc affected by eating disrders.
Instead f learning abut eating disrders, my junir health class taught me hw t cunt my calries. Accrding t registered dietitian Christy Harrisn, “disrdered eating patterns began with calrie cunting.” Despite this, health classes acrss the cuntry cntinue t require students t track their daily calric intake.
We need a develped and well-infrmed eating disrder curriculum. After all, the damage f a seemingly harmless 45-minutc vide may last smene a lifetime.
32.Why is TikTk mentined in paragraph 2?
A.T prve the authr's limited calrie intake.
B.T imply the authr's rich supply f infrmatin.
C.T stress the lack f educatin n eating disrders.
D.T highlight the influence f scial media n kids.
33.Accrding t the text, which is the mst cmmn eating disrder in the US?
    A. Anrexia. B. Bulimia. C. Dieting. D. Binge eating disrder.
    34.What is Christy Harrisn's attitude twards calrie-cunting?
    A. Negative. B. Psitive. C. Neutral. D. Ambiguus.
    35.What is the text?
    A. A science reprt.
    B. A dcumentary review.
    C. An argumentative essay.
    D. An autbigraphy excerpt.
