Do you find that you learn things faster than your parents sometimes? Congratulations, you could be right!
Scientists at Brown University, US, found that school-aged children learn new knowledge and skills faster than grown-ups. This has something to do with a chemical(化学物质) called GABA in our brains. It reduces brain noise so that we can learn things more easily. It also makes new knowledge stay longer in our heads.
The scientists scanned(扫描) the brains of children (8—11 years old) and adults (18—35 years old) before, during, and after doing a learning task. It turned out that when children learn new things, the number of GABA rises quickly. But there's little change in adults' brains. This tells us why children are better learners than adults.
The finding, the scientists said, should encourage teachers and parents to let children learn anything from riding a bike, playing an instrument or learning times tables(乘法表) in their childhood. It could also be used to help adults learn faster by increasing the amount of GABA in their brains.
63. What does the underline word “it” refer to(指的是)?
A. The scientist. B. GABA. C. Learning task. D. Learn things faster.
64. Why do children learn faster than adults?

B. There is more GABA in children's brain than in adults'.
C. There is something to do with a chemical.

65. What can we know from the last paragraph?
A. Parents could help children learn more.
B. Adults could learn as much as possible.
C. Teachers should teach children more than they could.
D. Teachers should teach children according to their level.
66. What's the best title of the text?
A. School-aged children learn new knowledge slower
B. Grown-ups learn new knowledge slower
C. The reasons why children learn new things faster
D. The reasons why adults learn new things faster

Have you ever felt lonely even when you're not alone? Have you ever felt lost or confused(困惑的) about your life? If so, there's no need to get nervous. No matter how much money you make, or how popular or successful you become, you might find that there's still something missing in your life.
Here are 3 possible reasons why you feel empty all the time.
First, you don't have any meaningful relationships. In everyday life, you always feel isolated and detached(格格不入的) from people around you. Because you won't share a laugh with them or have a personal conversation, then it's not a real relationship.
Second, you haven't got well with your past. The emptiness you feel right now may be a sign that there are some unresolved(未解决的) feelings from your past. So you can forgive(原谅) yourself, and allow yourself to grow and be better.
Third, you don't have any dreams in your life. If you don't have any dreams of your own you want to achieve, it can be hard to find any meaning in life. After all, it's simply human nature to want things for yourself.
So, take your time to understand where these feelings are coming from. It's not easy. But it's important because it will help you live a happier and more meaningful life.
73. How many possible reasons are mentioned in this text? (不超过5个词)

I'm Jim. When I was 12 years old, I got into a big trouble. It was a Sunday morning. It was raining heavily that day. Both of my parents were out, and they left my one-year-old brother and me home. My parents asked me to look after him for 2 hours. I agreed. After watching TV for a while, I decided to try something new—to cook eggs. I walked to the kitchen and lit the fire. But soon, the kitchen was on fire and I didn't know what to do. Luckily, my parents came back at that time and put out the fire. My parents were angry with me and I promised to be careful next time. Oh, what a day!
