设计说明

首先,通过谈论节日和家庭庆祝导入新课。接着，展示图片，通过讨论图片来教授本课节生词和短语；并通过做游戏来巩固所学生词。然后，由听课文选出课文的主旨进入对本课的学习。把课文分成三部分，通过读后回答问题、读后匹配、读后选择、读后填词等逐段学习课文；并通过查找短语并翻译来巩固对本课短语的理解；再通过复述课文加深对课文的理解和所学知识点的记忆。最后，处理剩余的练习题，并练习介绍如何保存记忆。整个教学过程，先听后读，以读为主，每次阅读都设有不同形式的阅读任务，避免了阅读任务的单一性，通过完成不同的任务引导学生逐步深入地学习课文。总之，阅读要有任务，任务要体现学习目的。

Step 1  Lead-in

Free talk.

  Talk about the festivals and family celebrations.

Teacher says or asks：

There’re many traditional festivals, such as Mid-Autumn Festival, Spring Festival, Dragon Boat Festival and Thanksgiving.

What’s your favourite festival?

What do you/your family do during those festivals?

Usually, on the festivals, there will be family celebrations.

What was your last family celebration? 

Do you still remember that family celebration? Why or why not?

Step 2  Presentation 

1. Teach the new words past, memory and the phrase such as using pictures by discussing the family celebrations.

Teacher says:

    There are many kinds of family celebrations, such as holidays and birthday parties. Family members talk about today, the past and the future. Family celebrations are always lots of fun. They can give us happy memories. But how do we save the memories? Here are some ideas.

2. Teach the new words album, collection, choose and slide using pictures by discussing the idea to save memories—start an album of family photos.
