设计说明

先让学生谈论自己的笔友，熟悉话题并导入新课。听听力之前，先让学生浏览一下答题纸，让学生对要听的内容有个大致的了解，这样可以让他们有目的地去听。接下来播放录音，必要的时候暂停，以便他们写下答案。最后让他们核对答案。针对本课节出现的短语设置练习，让学生能够熟记并运用。

Step 1 Warming up

1. Let the students talk in groups like this:

S1: Tell me some things about your penfriend.

S2: OK. My penfriend is a boy from America.

S3: How old is he?

S2: He is twelve years old.

S4: What’s his favourite subject?

S2: Maths. And he wants to learn Chinese too.

…

2. Walk around the class. Provide help if the students have difficulty in expressing themselves.

Step 2 Listen

1. Tell the students that they’re going to listen to something about penfriends.

2. Give the students time to read the answer sheet first.

3. Play the recording. Let the students listen.

4. Play the recording again. Pause for the students to write the answers.

5. Play the recording again to allow the students to check their answers.

6. Check the answers.
