At 18,1 cmpeted in my first marathn in Dublin, Ireland. At that time, I was an excellent 400-meter runner at high schl, but gt it int my head that I shuld try the lnger distance t prve that I was really gd at running-and what better than the marathn.
Back then, the running craze hadn't quite heated up t the pint it has tday and running a marathn was unknwn t mst peple. Besides, I never knew anyne wh had actually run a marathn.
On the way frm England t Dublin, I was wndering what I was getting myself in tw days later when the race wuld begin. I tried t get sme sleep t ease my nerves, but I fund it hard.
The race day was smewhat cludy, but the warmth f the peple frced away the cluds. My limited memries frm that first race remain: the feeling f running thrugh a tunnel(隧道)f peple as the crwds lined beside the streets; the cheers frm the crwds as the news came that an Irishman had wn the race; what's imprtant, the unbelievable kindness f the crwds cheering me n as I hit the wall and tried t struggle thrugh. Eventually, I didn't get the prize, but I never gave up and regarded it as a success because I challenged myself
After my first marathn, I started a website based n my lve fr running. Whether yu're an experienced marathner r just an interested passer-by, I invite yu t participate in the website and make it yur hme. Runners and particularly marathners seem t share cmmn ideals. While rganic dairy farms wuld make a gd prtective barrier against nitrgen arund the nature reserves, this desn't hld true fr rganic chicken and pig farms, the research shwed.
“Despite the gd it wuld d, nt many dairy farmers are likely t make the change,“ researcher Gerard Migchels said. "The rganic sectr is currently relatively small. Grwth is nly pssible if there is enugh market demand. That wuld make it pssible t cme t a realistic price fr rganic milk J he said.
In 2019, sme 40,000 cws in the Netherlands were farmed rganically, accunting fr just 1% f the Dutch herd f 3.8 millin.
Accrding t a gvernment reprt, 46% f nitrgen cmpund(复合物)pllutin arund nature reserves is dwn t agriculture, t which dairy fanning cntributes 60%. The new law n nitrgen emissins aims t reduce pllutin by 40% by 2025 and 74% by 2035.

In many casual discussins f language and the Internet, it’s cmmn t hear abut hw “scial media language” is ruining language. Sme peple argue that technlgy has made us lazy abut hw we speak and write. Tday, peple are able t cmmunicate rapidly using a wide variety f tls and technlgies. Perhaps n linguistic develpment better indicates changes in the ways we cmmunicate than the ppular emticn(表情符号).

Wrds that represent these feelings are what linguists call discurse particles(话 语 小品词).These are little pieces f language that ffer infrmatin abut the tne f the statement.
Far frm ruining language, these examples indicate hw peple can nw cmmunicate cmplex feelings in a simple, direct maimer. This kind f change is perfect fr ur mdem, fast-paced wrld.
