was和were怎么用呢？
She was here.They were there.
was和were用于过去时态中，单数主语用was，复数主语用were.
was和were的否定形式was的否定形式：was nt(wasn’t)were的否定形式：were nt (weren’t)
1. Lily wasn’t happy yesterday. 2. We weren’t students.
It was my birthday last Friday.
last Friday是过去的时间，因此句子为一般过去时态，it为单数主语，因此用was.
just nw是过去的时间，因此句子为一般过去时态，they为复数主语，因此用were.
They were at schl just nw.
We ______________(be) at hme yesterday. A. was B. were
时间词为yesterday，所以句子为一般过去时态，主语为we，是复数主语，所以be动词用were.
I ______________(be的否定形式) busy last Sunday. A. am nt B. wasn’t
时间词为last Sunday，故句子为一般过去时态。主语为单数，因此be的否定形式用wasn’t.

时间词为1978年，是过去的时间，因此句子为一般过去时态。而yu是复数主语，故be用were这种形式。
