教学过程 | Step 1 阅读Getting ready 板块的图文,了解单元话题。 学生观察教材第71页的卡通图,通过回答以下问题,了解卡通图的含义和单元话题。
Step 2 就“日常生活中需要用电的地方”开展“头脑风暴”。 学生发挥想象力,说说生活中有哪些东西需要使用电。认读和理解单词electricity等。
Step 3 开展读前活动,为阅读扫清部分理解上的障碍。
Step 4 仔细阅读文本,把握文本框架,提升对主阅读篇章的理解力。
a. Daisy was going to buy a packet of sweets. (T) b. Benny didn’t reply to his sister because he wanted nothing. (F. Benny asked Daisy to get h him a packet of electricity.) c. Benny didn’t think Daisy could buy electricity in packet like sweets. (T) d. Benny wanted to make Daisy look foolish. (T) e. Mum was happy about that. (F. Mum was unhappy and she asked Benny not to say that.) 学生认读和理解单词conversation,anyone,reply,foolish以及短语 a packet of等。 学生将5个正确的句子连接起来并集体朗读: Daisy was going to buy a packet of sweets. Benny asked her to get him a packet of electricity, but he didn’t think Daisy could buy electricity in packets like sweets. He just wanted to make Daisy look foolish. Mum was unhappy and she asked Benny not to say that. 3.教师要求学生阅读第二部分并回答以下问题: a. How does electricity come into our flats? ( Electricity comes into our flat through thin wires.) b. What is it like? (It’s like water, in a way.) c. What ate the wires connected to? (They are connected to cables under the street.) d. What are the cables connected to? (They are connected to a power station.) e. What does electricity give us? (It gives us power.) 学生认读和理解单词wire,connect以及短语in a way,(be) connected to, power station 等。认识单词cable。 4.学生完成Comprehension D2,熟悉电流进入家庭的过程。 5.学生阅读第三部分,回答以下问题: A. What did Daisy buy? (Batteries.) b. Was she right? (Yes, she was.) c. Why? (Because the chemicals inside batteries produce electricity.) 学生认读和理解单词 moment 和 battery。
Step 5 跟录音朗读课文。 教师应加强语音、语调的指导。
Step 6 分小组完成以下剧本,巩固文本内容。 Daisy:I’m going to buy _____. Does _____ want _____? Benny:Can you get me _____? Daisy:Yes, I can. Benny (laughs):She can’t buy electricity _____. She’ll look _____.
