考点05形容词考点总结考点01 形容词用来修饰名词或代词，说明人或事物的特征。形容词可以在句中充当：1）定语；Look at those beautiful flowers.看那些漂亮的花。2）表语；Her answer is good.她的回答很棒。3）宾语补足语；We are asked to keep our eyes closed.我们被要求保持闭着眼睛。4）状语。Angry, I drank ten cups of tea.我生气了，喝了10杯茶。Tired of the speech, he went home.他厌倦了这个演讲就回家了。考点02 有的形容词和定冠词连用表示一类人或物。We shouldn’t look down upon the poor.我们不应该歧视穷人。The old are full of experience.老者富有经验。The beautiful is not always useful.漂亮的不一定总有用。考点03 许多形容词都既能作定语又能作表语。只能作表语而不能作定语的形容词有：alone, alike, alive, afraid, awake, unable等。考点04 形容词的比较等级分为：原级，比较级和最高级。考点05 形容词的原级形式就是形容词的原形。She is as young as my daughter.她和我女儿一样年轻。考点06 形容词比较级的构成：构成方法原级比较级最高级一般单音节词尾后加-er或-esttalltallertallest以-e结尾的单音节和少数双音节词后加-r或-stlatelaterlatest闭音节单音节词若末尾只有一个辅音字母，必须先双写该辅音字母，再加-er或-estbigbiggerbiggest如果-y结尾的词，在-y之前是辅音字母，须变y为i后，再加-er或-estbusybusierbusiest一些双音节词和多音节词须在其前面加more或mostbeautifulmore beautifulmost beautiful考点07 有些形容词的比较等级是不规则的。如：原级比较级最高级good, wellbetterbest bad, illworseworst littlelessleast many, muchmoremost 考点08“as＋形容词原级＋as”引导的比较状语从句用于表示“和……一样”的意思。She is as clever as her brother.她和她的哥哥一样聪明。考点09“形容词的比较级＋than”引导的比较让步状语从句表示“比……一些”。This question is more difficult than that one.这个问题比那个难。考点10 “the＋最高级＋in/ among/of等表示范围的短语”表示“在……中最……”的意思。He is the fattest in his family.他是家里最胖的。考点11 “the＋比较级……，the＋比较级……”表示“越……越……”。The more you learn , the more you know.学的越多，懂得越多。考点12 形容词最高级的前面常加定冠词the。当most意为“非常”，而不是表示最高级时，其前面用不定冠词或者不用冠词。She is the most clever girl in the school.她是学校里最聪明的女孩。Qingdao is a most beautiful city.青岛是一座非常漂亮的城市。This film was most interesting.这本电影非常有趣。考点13形容词的比较级前通常不用the。但是若表示“两者中较……的那一个”则其前面要加the。China is larger than Japan.中国比日本大。Which is the larger city of the two ones?这两座城市哪个较大？考点14 形容词的比较级可以用even, a lot, a bit, a little, still, much, far,yet等修饰。I’m much better now.我现在好多了。考点15 形容词的最高级可以用序数词, much, nearly, almost, by far, by no means, not quite, not really, nothing like等修饰。What is the third longest river in China?中国第三长的河是什么？考点16 多个形容词修饰名词时，形容词的排列顺序为：限定词→一般描绘性的词→表示大小的词→表示长短的词→表示形状的词→表示性质的词→表示年龄的词→表示新旧的词→表示颜色的词→表示国籍的词→表示出处的词→表示材料的词→表示用途、类别的词＋被修饰的名词a big round table一个大的圆形桌子a beautiful new white shirt一件漂亮新的白色衬衣an expensive American sports car一辆昂贵的美国赛车This is a big quiet red old Chinese stone temple.这是一座红色的古老而宁静的中国大石庙。Whose is this small green Japanese steel watch?这块绿色钢制日本产的小手表是谁的？考点演练 一、单项选择1．—Do you know the girl who got top marks in the physics test again?—Yeah. it’ s Lisa in Class 8.
