英语作文中英语的记叙文一般都是用的第一或第三人称来叙述的。用第一称的好处是由作者亲眼所见、亲耳所闻的经历。它的益处在于能把故事的情节经由过程“我”来告诉给读者。
英语作文在记叙文中，记和叙二者都离不开动词。所以动词使用率最高，且富于变化。这是英语记叙文区别于汉语记叙文的关键之处。英语写作的美妙之处就在于这些动词时态的转变。
记叙文写作技巧:
记叙文是记人叙事的文章，它主若是用于声名事务的时刻、布景、原由、过程及结不美观，即我们凡是所说的五个" W" ( what, who, when,where, why )和一个"H"( how )。记叙文的重点在于"述说"和"描写"，是以一篇好的记叙文：
1. 头绪分明，脉络清嚣张
2. 凸起中心，详略适当
3. 用活说话，正确活跃。记叙文要器具体的事务和活跃的说话对人、事、物加以论说。一篇好的记叙文的说话既要切确、活跃，又要默示力强，这样才能把人、事描写得具体活跃，其可读性才强。
总之，在写英语作文时，就要刻苦学习，下苦工去写，认真选材，要符合中心。开头要开门见山的点题，这样写作文不容易走题，要按照记叙文的三部分去写，写出的文章结构紧凑，语言优美，中心明确，一定能写出好的文章。

【写作注意事项】
记叙文是以写人、记事为主要内容的一种文体。它包括＂六大要素＂：时间、地点、人物、事件的起因、经过和结果（即when, where, who, why, how, what)。写记叙类文章时应该把这六大要素交代明白，同时还应注意以下三点。
（1）叙述方式：主要有顺叙、倒叙和插叙三种，英语记叙文主要以顺叙为主。
（2）时态上：记叙文主要记述过去发生的事情，所以常用一般过去时、过去进行时、过去将来时等时态。
（3）人称上：常用第一人称和第三人称。用第一人称表示的是由叙述者亲身经历的事情。用第三人称是通过作者和读者之外的第三者把故事的具体情节呈现在读者面前。
【写作方法】
第一段：开门见山，交代事件的大体情况，如时间、地点、人物、事件等；
第二段： 详细叙述事件发展的过程、原因或结果等；
第三段：评价该事件：表明自己的看法、感受等。

写好叙事类文章的开头的四种方式
1. ＂开门见山＂式开头 
一般来说，文章的开头应尽量做到＂开门见山＂，即要用简单明了的语言引出文章的话题，使人一开始就能了解文章要说明的内容。 
对于叙事类的文章，可以在开头把人物、时间、事件和环境交代清楚。如＂A Trip to Huangshan(黄山之旅)＂的开头可以是：Last month, my family went to Huangshan by train. It took us ten hours to get there. What a long and tiring journey! We were tired but the beautiful scenery excited us.
2. 回忆性开头
在描述事件或游记类的文章中，采用回忆性的开头往往更能吸引人的眼球。这种类型的开头中通常含有描述自己心情或情绪的词汇，如never forget(永远无法忘记)、 remember (记得)、unforgettable(难以忘怀的)、 exciting(令人激动的)、surprising(令人惊讶的)、sad (难过的)... 如＂A Trip to Huangshan(黄山之旅)＂的开头还以这样写：I will never forget my first trip to Huangshan. 或It was really an unforgettable experience I had.
3. 疑问性开头
在叙事类或论述性的文章中，都可采用疑问型开头，这样既可以吸引阅卷者的注意又容易抓住中心。如＂Planting Trees(种树)＂的开头可以是：Have you ever planted trees? Don’t you think planting trees is ... 再如＂Traveling Abroad(出国之旅)＂的开头可以是：If you have an opportunity to travel abroad, why not consider Singapore?
4. 倒叙式开头
在有的文章，特别是叙事类的文章中，可以采用倒叙的写作手法，先写出事件的结果，再陈述过程。如＂Catching Thieves (捉贼)＂的开头可以这样写：I lay in bed in the hospital. I smiled at my friends even though my legs hurt. Do you want to know what happened to me? Let me tell you. It’s a ... story.

写作要求以电子邮件的形式介绍自己中考后的第一个周末活动计划。写作时要仔细阅读有关提示，弄清试题提供的所有信息，明确要点：分别从时间和活动安排来介绍，根据表达的内容确定句子的时态，就本文而言应该用一般将来时态，会用到be going to结构，人称为第一人称。在时间的表达上注意介词的正确使用，在某一天的早晨、下午、晚上用介词on。写作时，还需注意语句间的衔接，使用恰当的连词，使文意连贯，表达流畅。
