King of the jungle. He walked around showing off his power and pride.

Each day Lion took a long lazy sleep under the shade of his favourite tree. He always dreamed of weaker animals bowing(鞠躬) before him.

This is a story about a boy called Sparky. For Sparky， school was all but impossible. He failed every subject in the eighth grade. He got a zero in physics. Few words are spoken more often every day on the streets of Britain than “I'm sorry”. This phrase has become such a common response（反应）that it has taken on a lot of meanings.

Saying “Sorry” means to apologize（道歉）. This is simple and easy to understand. We learn it both as a native speaker and as a student of foreign languages.
