只能用whether不能用if的情况
what与that 双t争霸
1.That he failed the exam made me surprised.(主语从句,that不充当从句成分)2.He is a gd student except that he is a little careless. that 引导的宾语从句一般不做介词的宾语(介词 but,except,besides,in除外)。
易混 that与what引导名词性从句的区别
what在名词性从句中可作主语、宾语或表语；而that 不作任何成分。

1）主语从句 1.It is +adj.+ that-从句（necessary,imprtant,likely,certain） 2.It is +n.+ that-从句（a pity, n wnder, a shame） 3.It is +-ed+ that-从句（reprted, cnsidered, knwn） 4.It +vi + that-从句(seem,happen,appear,matter)
含名词性从句的重要句型：

1. 主语+think,believe, cnsider, feel, make, find, guess, suppse +it +adj./ n.+that-从句eg. We have made it clear that the meeting will nt be held n time.
2. hate,enjy,like,lve,dislike,see t, appreciate, depend n,rely n等后接宾语从句时,常在从句前面加it。 I hate it when they talk with their muths full f fd.

1.be2.感官动词：lk ， taste ，sund ， feel 3.保持：keep,stay, remain4.似乎，好像：seem ，appear 5.表变化：becme, turn表语从句的连接词是that时，通常不能省略。
that 引导宾语从句时不能省略的情况：
①当that从句作介词的宾语时；
②动词后跟有多个that引导的宾语从句时，只有第一个that可以省略，从第二个从句开始that不可省略；
