设计说明 首先，通过询问学生是否去过西安并介绍在西安的见闻，吸引学生的注意力，并引出本课时的话题A Visit to Xi’an (西安之旅)；接着,通过对大雁塔、鼓楼、钟楼、兵马俑等名胜的介绍学习本课生词，并利用Let’s Do It! No. 3的习题进一步对生词巩固练习；然后，通过听音选图片、阅读回答问题、阅读找短语并翻译、利用图片介绍西安的名胜等环节步步深入地学习本课内容；最后，布置课下作业，要求学生在网上搜索有关西安名胜的信息与大家一起分享。本课内容以西安的名胜为主题，趣味性和现实性较强，这有利于展开课堂教学，同时，要求学生上网搜寻资料，使课堂内容与课外内容相结合，培养学生的自主学习和独立思考的能力。 教学目标 通过本课节的教学，学生达成以下目标： 1.知识目标 掌握单词：hit, ancient, ring, bell, enjoy, dish, tour, guide, move 接触单词：drum, pit, sign 短语和句型：welcome to, climb up, ring the bell, take photos You can walk along the wall in the Walled City. It is about 12 kilometres long and over 600 years old. No photos! 2.能力目标 (1)能正确运用本课节的词汇、短语和句型； (2)能介绍城市的特色、标志性建筑,了解西安的历史文化。 3.情感目标 激发热爱祖国、了解祖国的热情。 重点难点 1.重点：学习介绍名胜古迹的单词、短语和句型。 2.难点：能准确介绍名胜古迹。 教学准备 PPT 课件；本课节用到的录音。 授课时数 1课时 教学过程 Step 1 Lead-in Have a free talk about Xi’an. T: Boys and girls，Xi’an is an ancient city, and it has many places of interest. You must have known them before. Who can tell us something about the famous city. S1: I went there last year and visited the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. S2: I ate some special food there. S3: ... Step 2 Presentation Teacher says: In this lesson we are going to visit Xi’an with Jenny, Danny, Li Ming and Wang Mei. First, let’s learn the new words: hit, ancient, ring, bell, enjoy, dish, tour, guide, move.
