1. Dear students, … 亲爱的同学们： dear 1) adj. 亲爱的 (可用于书信的开头) e.g. dear Jenny 2) adj. 昂贵的 (相当于expensive) e.g. This schlbag is t dear. 3) 感叹词 哎呀；天哪 (表示惊奇) e.g. Oh, dear! Where’s my hat?
2. We have sme interesting and fun things fr yu this term.
interesting和fun是近义词，但语意稍有区别。interesting的含义是“有意思的；有吸引力的”，fun的含义是“逗乐的；有趣的；使人快乐的”。

本学期我们为大家安排了一些有趣又好玩的活动。

① It's nearly the end f term.
② It is the tenth week f this term.

eg: The schl year begins in autumn.
3. Schl Day is n Octber 22nd.
Schl Day表示“学校开放日；学校活动日”，但它不是一个固定的节日，不同学校庆祝的方式也不同。
① English Day
学校开放日定在10月22日。
② Sprts Day
Day通常表示“天；白天；一日”，但当D大写，成为专有名词时，Day可以表示节日、纪念日及其他有特殊意义的日期。
4. Next mnth, we have an art festival. 接下来的这个月我们有一个艺术节。 have v. 举行; 举办 后面跟表示活动的名词，指“举办某种活动”。 e.g. have a class meeting 开班会have a music festival 举办音乐节have tennis games 举办网球赛 have a bk sale 举行减价售书活动
5. This is a really busy term! 这个学期真是很繁忙！ busy adj. 忙碌的；无暇的 反义词：free 有空的；空闲的 be busy ding sth. 忙于做某事 be busy with sth. 忙于某事 e.g. I’m very busy tday.
两者有时可进行同义句转换
【语境应用】翻译句子她正忙着做家庭作业。She is busy ding her hmewrk.She is busy with her hmewrk.
6. Have a gd time! 祝你们过得愉快！ 在他人要外出旅行或去参加某项活动时，常用此句向对方表示一种美好的祝愿 相当于：Have a nice/great/wnderful time!或 Have fun! 答语常为：Thank yu. 或 Thanks. e.g. —I’m ging t Beijing n vacatin next week. —Have a gd time! = Have a nice/ great/ wnderful time!
time n. 时间，通常为不可数名词常用句型: It’s time (fr sb.) t d sth. (某人)做某事的时间到了It’s time fr sth. 到……时间了Time fr sth. (到)……时间e.g. It is time (fr us) t g t schl. It’s time fr dinner.Time fr bed.
