    There was paper money in Europe when Marco Polo travels Asia.

    e.g.

    You can write down your feelings.

    【注意】

    如果接名词, write sth downwrite down sth都可以。

    如果接代词的话,只能放在中间, write it down

     

    6. Because of the interesting descriptions of Asian life in the book, …

    because of 由于;because 因为

    because是连词,意思是:因为;由于。

    because of是复合介词,意思是:因为,由于(说明)。

    because可用来引导让步状语从句,这时,通常用于否定句或疑问句中。还可引导表语从句。

    because of其后可接名词、代词、动名词或由what引导的从句(但不是直接接从句)。当主语是代词时,because of短语在句中可用作表语。

    e.g.

    I was angry because I played so badly.

    我生气因为我弹得这么糟。

     

    The road is closed because of the snow.

    这条路因下雪而封闭。
