Susan was a shy girl. She always had a hard time talking with new people. But when she grew up. she became a reporter. This job is usually for a person who likes to talk in front of people. "Eat breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince and dinner like a poor man." As the old saying tells us, breakfast is the most important meal of the day. It provides us with energy after a long night without food. If people don't have breakfast in the morning, they will feel tired and get angry easily. Breakfast helps children stay more focused in school. A study showed that children who eat breakfast regularly score higher in most subjects.

Breakfast is also important for losing weight. If you have a balanced breakfast, you will eat less throughout the day.

Healthy and balanced breakfast should include some protein like eggs, milk or a little meat which makes you energetic all day. Carbohydrates (碳水化合物) like rice or bread can keep you active. Vegetables and fruit have the vitamins that humans need.

In 1971, a young man who grew up very poor was traveling across the country, trying to make a new start for himself. Along the way he had completely run out of money and was forced to spend the night in his car. This continued until one morning, after a week of sleeping in his car, he walked nervously into a restaurant and ordered a big breakfast.

After eating his first good meal in weeks, he found himself lying to the waiter, telling him he had lost his wallet.   It is clear that health is the foundation of one’s future success. Only when we are healthy can we study well and enjoy life.

  However, according to a survey conducted in our school, many students don’t pay enough attention to their health. They have some bad habits. For example, They stay up too late and spend too much time watching TV, playing computer games, even chatting online all night, which has a bad influence on their health. Firstly, this may make them get near-sighted. Secondly, they will become weaker and weaker due to lack of exercise. Thirdly, they will lose the chance to communicate with others face to face as they never go out, which may damage their mental health.

  As far as I am concerned, we should develop a healthy lifestyle. We are supposed to spend less time in front of TV or the computer. Instead, we should participate in more physical exercise after school and spare some time to visit friends or relatives.
