Teaching procedures
1. Warming-up
Travel back to dinosaur times. Use clues to place dinosaurs into the correct time periods on a time line.
2. Revision
a. Listen, read and act Part A.
b. Ask students to say out their reports about Diplodocus in groups.
3. Practice
a. Show Transparency and the notes on Dinosaur K and dinosaur S.
b. Ask the students to work in pairs to write the sentences.
c. Check the sentences as you walk round to ensure that that the students
are using the correct past tense forms.
d. Ask some students to read aloud their sentences to check the answers
with the whole class.
4. Consolidation
a. Read the rubric to the students. Remind them that they should
familiarize themselves with the words and the pictures on the page in the
time they have before listening. They should listen and circle the words
they hear. Play the cassette.
b. Ask the students to listen to the tape once more to check their answers. [来源:]

5. Sum up.
