    New brain research, led by researchers at the Nrwegian University f Science and Technlgy, annunces the same: chsing handwriting ver using a keybard results in better learning and memry.
    “When yu write yur shpping list r ntes by hand, yu simply remember things better after sme time,” said Audrey van der Meer, authr f the study.
    The study was dne using equipment t track and recrd brain wave activity. 12 yung adults and 12 children tk part in the study. Each persn was asked t write by hand and type n a keybard while wearing a hd(风帽)with ver 250 electrdes(电极). The sensrs(传感器)in the electrdes are very sensitive and catch the electrical activity that takes place in the brain. Each examinatin tk 45 minutes per persn.
    The results shw that the brain in bth yung adults and children is much mre active when writing by hand than when typing n a keybard. Accrding t Van der Meer, plenty f senses are activated by pressing a pen n paper, seeing the letters written and hearing the sund made while writing. These sense experiences build cnnectins between different parts f the brain, pening the brain up fr learning.
    Van der Meer believes that the results shw the imprtance f children’s learning t draw and write at an early age, especially at schl. “Learning t write by hand is a bit slwer prcess, but it’s imprtant fr children t g thrugh the tiring prcess f learning t write by hand,” she said.
    The hand mvements are gd fr us in many ways. “If yu use a keybard, yu use the same mvement fr each letter. Writing by hand requires cntrl f yur skills and senses.
