教学过程 | Step1 Warming up.
Row, row, row your boat.
Review the phrases: Swimming, playing football, playing basketball, playing table tennis, running, taking pictures, riding a bike, flying a kite, listening to music, reading a book, stand up, sit down, talking to my friend.
Today we’ll have a big tree, and there are some apples in this tree. I’ll divide our class into two groups. If you do good job, you will jump one step. Which group jump higher will catch the apples, they’re the winner. Step 2 Presentations. Boys and girls, do you like animals? Today we’ll go to circus. Let’s look at these lovely animals. There is a video for you. Let’s enjoy it. Do you like them? OK, today we’ll learn Module 3 Unit 2 What’s the elephant doing?
T: Who are they? Ss: They’re Daming and Amy. T: Yes, Daming and Amy go to Circus today. They see lots of interesting animals and things. Do you want to have a look? Now enjoy the video and try to answer the question: What animals are they talking about? Play the video. T: Who can answer the questions? S: The elephant, the tigers, the horse and the horse.
(1) New word: draw Show the picture of elephant. T: Now let’s look at the first pictures. What’s this? Ss: It’s an elephant. T: What’s the elephant doing? Ss: 画画. T: Yes, it’s drawing pictures. Learn the new word: draw Draw—dr, aw—draw—drawing—drawing pictures— It’s drawing pictures. —What’s the elephant doing? It’s drawing pictures. Students practice the sentences. (2) New Word: jump Show the picture of tigers T: Next one, what’s in this picture? Do you know this animal? Ss: Tigers. T: Yes, what’s the tigers doing? Ss: 跳。 Learn the word: jump Jump— jumping —It’s jumping.—What are the tigers doing? It’s jumping. Play the game : High and low voice. Students practice the sentences. (3) New Word: sing. Show the picture of bird. T: How about this animal? Ss: It’s a bird. T: What’s the bird doing? Ss: 唱歌。 T: Yes, it’s singing. Learn the word: sing. Sing— singing—It’s singing.—What’s the bird doing? It’s singing. Pair work. Practice the sentences. (4) New work : dance. Show the picture of horse. T: Now let’s have a look the last pictures. Ss: It’s a horse. T: What’s the horse doing? Ss: 跳舞. Learn the new word: dance. Dance—dancing—It’s dancing.—What’s the horse doing? It’s dancing. Pair work. Practice the sentences.
Drawing, drawing, it’s drawing. Jumping, jumping, it’s jumping. Singing, singing, it’s singing. Dancing, dancing, it’s dancing.
Game 1: Magic eyes. Game 2: Lucky eggs.
Now open your book , and turn to page 17. Look at the activity 2. Listen and follow the point reading pen. Read the text freely. Ss try to retell the text. Listen to activity 1 , and try to answer the question: What are the monkeys doing? Listen and follow the point reading pen. Step 3 Consolidation
Teacher shows some people’s pictures, and practice the “What’s she/ he doing? She’s/He’s doing…”

教学反思 | 本节课是学生学习现在进行时的第二课时,教学目标是让学生掌握动名词词组以及句型What’s the elephant doing? 在这节课中我采用了情景教学,让学生自主学习与合作学习。在新授词组时,说、动作结合,让学生更好的理解词组含义与记忆。并通过各种真实的动作图片,引导学生对于谈论现在的情况有较丰富的、深入的体验。运用了身体语言,帮助他们理解、领会现在进行时用法。调动了学生学习积极性,整个课堂气氛活跃,学生的热情很高。教学中我有意识地淡化语法教学,把学习内容和生活有效的整和起来,让学生在看,听,读的同时,会说,敢说,能灵活的运用所学知识 , 注意引导学生的口语表达能力,使学生的创新能力、合作探究能力得到发展。并通过practice、read and act、role play等环节加强对新知识的巩固。使学生顺利地完成了学习任务。 当然在本课教学中,也存在着一些不足和遗憾之处,引发我的思考。
