Step1 Warm-up
- Enjoy a song: What are you doing?
- Try to sing(配合动作dance,hop,cry)
T: Nice performance. What are we doing now?
S: We are having an English lesson.
T: Today, we will still learn Unit5 Helping our parents.
Step2 Revision time
- Brainstorming
T: From this story, what are Mike and Helen doing?
S: They are helping their parents.
T: Yes, they are helping their parents do housework.
Do you know any other phrases about housework?
S: Make the bed, wash clothes, sweep the floor...
(让学生齐读ppt上的词组并复习)
- Let’s judge (yes or no)
T: Look at this picture, Mike’s family are very busy on Saturday morning, except Tim.
What are they doing? Please read and judge.
Step3 Grammar time
- Let’s find
T: Look at these sentences, what have you found?
S1: 都有be doing结构。
T: What tense is it?
S2: 现在进行时。
(生齐读概念)
T: 当我们想要谈论某人正在干某事时,可以用:主语+be doing机构。(板书)

T: We are familiar with “doing”, do you know what words or phrases should use doing?
S: like doing,be good at doing.
T: Do you remember the three rules?
S: 直接加ing,去e加ing,双写最后一个字母加ing。
