Sam Mehr, a psychlgist at Harvard started wrking n the prject after he kept reading an verfamiliar line at the tp f research papers that said, “music is universal.” But every time he came acrss the statement, there wasn't a citatin t back it up.
T see if there was any prf t this claim, he and his fellw researchers created tw databases: ne with descriptins frm the researchers f what happened when music frm the 1960s was playing, and anther f 118 audi recrdings frm 86 different scieties.
