Step1:Lead-in

1. Discuss the following questions:

T: Hello, boys and girls. 1) Do you like     animals?  2)Have you ever been to the zoo? 3)What animals do you think are gentle animals? 4) What animals do you think are dangerous animals? 5) What rules should we obey at the zoo?

2. Show some pictures about animals and signs to the class. Let the students discuss the questions in groups. Then let them present their results in front of the class.

Cultivate students’ interest to learn the new content.

Step2:New words

Study

Show some pictures of the new words.And then teach them read those new words.

To get new knowledge.

Step3:Presentation

1. If some students feel the passage is too long, the teacher can divide it into two or three parts.Then ask them to read them in groups, After a while, ask them to read the passage one by one.

2. Please pay attention to the long sentences: When animals are scared, they can be dangerous.

3. The teacher should help students to learn the passage.

Help students get some basic information to learn the content better.

IX Teaching reflection

The students did a great gob in this lesson .The teacher tried her best to encourage them to answer those questions in this lesson and the students could follow the teacher well. In listening part a few students can not listen to the listening materials well ,so listening ability should be improved and trained in next new lesson.
