Nw the sauce was sur and spicy.

Why D Tp Athletes Chke Under Pressure?
Accrding t classic ecnmic thery, the higher the reward, the better the expected perfrmance. As a result, we culd expect the best perfrmance at the mst imprtant mments. But why d we s ften see the mst talented and experienced athletes perfrm much wrse than expected in imprtant cmpetitins like the Olympics?
    Why the Drp in Perfrmance?
It is nt necessarily true that there's a direct relatinship between incentives (激励) and achievement.Research has shwn that increased mtivatin (动机) beynd a certain level harms an athlete's perfrmance. We call this phenmenn "chking under pressure". Greater incentives may lead t higher levels f arusal (兴㭗). The relatinship between perfrmance and arusal lks like an inverted U shape (倒U形), meaning that perfrmance is the best at certain levels f arusal and drps with ver-arusal.
The desire t perfrm as well as pssible is thught t create perfrmance pressure. Many studies have shwn increased pressure has a bad effect n athletes' perfrmance in skill-based games. When peple verthink r cnsciusly mnitr each step, the drp in perfrmance happens.
    28
Beynd the pressure cming frm the imprtant cmpetitins, anther thing that may add pressure is the level f expectatins. An experiment suggested high audience expectatins harm perfrmance in a skill-based task. Fr example, ne f the mst famus biathletes in histry, Martin Furcade, said it was very emtinal fr him t cmpete in his hme cuntry and als much harder than cmpeting abrad because f greater expectatins.
We tested this hme disadvantage by using data frm biathln (冬季两项) cmpetitins ver 17 years. We have fund the mst titled athletes miss a lt mre shts when cmpeting in their hme cuntry cmpared t when they cmpete abrad. The mst reasnable explanatin likely relates t the level f expectatins frm the hmeland.
    Hw t Deal with It?
There are several ways t reduce stress, such as a cuntdwn r taking a deep breath befre the task. But the base fr any slutin is t realize that stress affects perfrmance. Chking under pressure can happen t the best athletes and it's nt a shame t admit it. The mre athletes knw abut the effect pressure can have n them, the mre likely they are t succeed at the highest level.
27.What can we learn frm "chking under pressure"?
A.The higher the reward, the better the expected perfrmance.
B.Better achievement in games results frm a drp in pressure.
C.Arusal beynd a certain level harms an athlete's perfrmance.
D.Athletes' perfrmance in games has smething t d with their training.
28.Which f the fllwing wuld be the best heading fr Paragraph 4 and 5?
    A.Pressure as a Key t Imprving Perfrmance
B.Pressure as a Push fr Becming Tp-level Athletes
C.High Expectatins as a Cause f Chking Under Pressure
D.High Expectatins as an Incentive t Cmpete in the Hme Cuntry
29.T deal with pressure, the athletes shuld first________.
A.avid the pssible feelings f pressure
B.share their wrries with friends and caches
C.try their best t succeed at the highest level
    D.recgnize the effect f stress n perfrmance
    D
Nwadays, the nline wrld is nearly as imprtant as the real ne. It is nt uncmmn t see the whle Internet bands tgether t "cancel" smene after they make a mistake, which is called Cancel Culture. It can result in a persn, if famus, lsing fans and having t face attacks nline. Even a nrmal persn faces risks f lsing their jbs r persnal relatinships. A New Yrk Metr Parents article describes ne girl wh was canceled in schl the same way peple are canceled n the Internet, and her friends wuldn't even talk t r lk at her.
Dr.Pam Rultledge, a media psychlgist, explains in her blg pst that Cancel Culture discurages kids frm expressing their pinins and standing up fr thers. It's always an "us against them mindset; anyne agreeing with the persn being canceled is at risk f being left ut nline t.
S again I ask, what is this teaching ur kids? That they aren't allwed t make mistakes? That they have t be perfect? This may be the current narrative, but it shuldn't be. Everyne messes up at sme pint, especially yung children. They shuldn't be publicly punished fr it and nt given the chance t change peple's minds. Frgiveness is an imprtant skill kids need t learn, and Cancel Culture is encuraging the ppsite.
One small mistake desn't make smene a bad persn, but Cancel Culture makes them feel as if they are. Cancel Culture desn't have t exist. We make it exist. And just as easily, we can make it disappear by cntributing t an nline wrld full f praise and lve.

31.Why des the writer mentin the New Yrk Metr Parents article in Paragraph 2?

C.T shw hw Cancel Culture has exercised influence n kids' real lives.
    D. T suggest pssible ways f changing the habit f verusing the Internet.
32 In Cancel Culture, a persn wh makes mistakes will be .
A.cmfrted with great patience B.left ut and publicly punished
C.taught hw t crrect the mistakes D.blcked frm using the Internet again
33.By saying "This may be the current narrative, but it shuldn't be" in Paragraph 4,the writer wants t express that Cancel Culture .
    A.is easy t change B.has a tw-sided nature
C.is suppsed t be canceledD.stps mistakes frm being repeated
