一、教学内容：
本课时的教学内容是外研社《小学新标准英语》五年级下册Mdule5Unit1 It’s big and light.
二、教材分析：
本模块是小学英语五年级下册的内容，主要功能是描述事物的特征。要求教师能够引导学生学会用恰当的去描述事物的特征。Unit１主要是呈现本模块所要学习的语言内容。
三、学情分析：
本课学习的重点是巩固用形容词说明事物特征的用法。学生在以前曾学习过一些形容词，难度相对不大，但是要求学生掌握的形容词较多。所以教学时要注意对以前学习过的形容词进行复习，归纳，要求学生对所学的形容词能够学以致用。
四、教学目标：
【知识与技能】
1）全体学生能理解：light,hard, brken, pckets,umbrella,easy,take，wheel，department stre，sales assistant，easy
2) 全体学生能运用：light，easy，umbrella，take
3）全体学生能掌握句型：This black bag is nice. It’s big and light.
4）部分学生能通过听短文获得信息。
5）部分学生能运用句型It’s+形容词来表达形容事物的特征。
【情感目标】
敢于开口说英语，有兴趣描述各种事物的特征。乐于与他人交流，表明自己的看法。
【过程与方法】
本堂课采用了任务型的教学法。本着这些理念，我将本课重点内容落实在歌谣，游戏，听说、自由讨论等任务活动中，复习旧知，学习新知。发展语言综合运用能力，获得成就感，树立自信。
五、教学重难点：
1、单词：light，brken，pcket, umbrella, easy, take
2、句型：This black bag is nice. It’s big. It’s big and light. It’ll be easy fr her t carry.
3、难点：学会用英语描述事物的特征并进行比较。
