    The students can ask and state the time f the activities with the sentence patterns “What time d yu g t schl? I g t schl at seven thirty.” by cmmunicating with partners.
    The students can get the main details frm the activity planning and the chart infrmatin.
    They can make a schedule, s that they can arrange the time reasnably and scientifically in their daily life.
    教学重点、难点:
    Help the students hw t d a survey abut what time d they d the activities.
    Help the students understand the passage better by the given reading materials.
    Help the students hw t make a time table .
    教学准备:
    Multi-teaching DVD, PPT ,teaching cards and vide abut a survey.
    教学过程:
    Step1 Get ready
    Teacher plays the sng “Welcme t New Yrk” as the backgrund music,and have a free talk with the students.
    Ask, “What time is it nw?” “It’’s time t have ur English class. Welcme t Galina’s English Class. Class begins.”
    Ss sing a sng, “Tick Tck”.
    【设计意图】通过课前随意问答以及歌曲互动,消除了学生的紧张心理,活跃了课堂气氛,以便他们快速进入英语课堂中来。
    Step2 Cmpetitin
    Set fur grups in the class.
    T: Yu knw, last lessns we have learned t express the time in English, cme n, children, please lk at this clck, “What time is it?” Gd, it’s ne ’clck. Lk there are fur clcks here, standing fr fur grups in ur class. Yur grup culd walk ne hur if yu did a gd jb. let’s have a cmpetitin tday, which grup walk the fastest will be the winner. And everybdy in yur grup will get my presents.
    Express the time quickly.
    T: Cme n, let’s cme t the first rund. “Express the time quickly”.
    Shw the times n the screen, let the students say ut in English.
    (3)Ss get ready fr the cmpetitin.

    Step3 Listening
    Lead in---watch a vide
    T: Nw, children, I’ll invite yu t watch a vide abut my daughter, after watching, please answer my questins, “What time des Sue g t schl? What time des she read bks? What time des she have dinner?”
    Ss watch the vide,then answer the questins.
    【设计意图】VCR吸引了孩子们的兴趣,作为导入,同时也是听力练习,巩固了上节课的内容,也为下面的Speaking做铺垫。
    Step 4 Speaking
    Teacher asks the students the abve questins.
    T: Great! Can yu tell me “What time d yu g t schl? What time d yu read bks? What time d yu have dinner?”
    Students: give their answers,using the sentences “I g t schl/ read bks/ have dinner at ”
    Ss read the sentences n the blackbard tgether.
    D a survey amng the students.
    T: Well, all f yu did gd jbs. And nw let’s d a survey t get mre infrmatin frm yur partners what time they d these activities. Open yur bks, turn t page 24, let’s g thrugh the activities firstly.
    Ss d a survey in their grup.
    Shw time.
    T: Nw, it’s yur time t shw.First I’ll ask sme grups f yu t ask and answer, then I’ll invite sme f yu t reprt yur survey.
    Ss wrk in pairs and d a reprt.
    【设计意图】生生合作,学生小组间交流,问卷调查,将语言知识用在实践活动中,最后的shw time 给学生提供展示机会,让孩子们获得学习的喜悦,获得成就感,幸福感。
    Step 5 Reading
    Pre-reading—talk abut the picture.
    T: Yu’re great! Nw let me intrduce a girl named Lucy. Lk, this is Lucy. She is busy n Sunday. Let’s guess “What des she d n Sunday?” frm the given picture.
    Ss may answer: She has music class. She ges t the library. She ges shpping.
    Fast-reading—read the diary
    T: Ok, let’s g thrugh her schedule t get what she des n Sunday.
    “Des she have music class? Des she g t the library? Des she g shpping?”
    Careful-reading—finish the task
    T: This time yu shuld finish the task “true r false”. Please pen the bks, turn t page 25, read the sentences firstly, and then find the infrmatin in Lucy’s schedule t check if the sentences are true r false.
    Ss finish the task.
    Check the answers fr the Ss, they shuld be asked t find the details.

    Step6 Writing
    Make a plan—write a time table
    T: Well, just nw, we knew that Lucy is very busy n Sunday. What abut yu? What d yu d n this Sunday? Let’s write a time table and make a plan fr this Sunday.I’ll shw yu my plan abut this Sunday firstly. There are sme activities that may help yu. Let’s read thrugh them(play sprts, g t the library, have music class…). Nw, let’s begin. If yu finished, yu culd share with yur partners and speak ut yur plan.
    Ss write their plan.
    Present the Ss’ wrk.
    Ss share their wrk in the class.
