并列复合句的基本结构是: ______________________________
e.g. I help him and he helps me.
3. 使用不同的并列连词可以表示出并列句中各分句之间的不同关系。
(1) 并列/顺承关系。常用的表示并列关系的连词有and, nr等。
e.g. They are watching TV, and the thers are listening t the radi.
He des nt d it, nr des he try. 他没有做,也没有尝试一下。
(2) 选择关系。常用的表示选择关系的连词有r, either…r...等。
e.g. The children can g with us, r they can stay at hme.
Either yu are wrng r I am. 不是你错了,就是我错了。
另外注意,r还有“否则”的意思,表示不按照前句这样做会导致的结果
e.g. We must run fast r we will be late.
Yu must put n yur cat, r yu’ll have a bad cld in such a cld day.
(3) 转折关系。常用的转折连词有but, yet等。
e.g. She was tired, but she did nt stp wrking.
It is very gd, yet it can be better. 这很好,但还能精益求精。
(4) 因果关系。常用的表示因果关系的连词有fr, s, because等。
e.g. The days were shrt, fr it was December nw. 白天短了,因为现在是12月了。
The girl did her wrk carefully, s she never made any mistakes.
4. 使用并列复合句要注意的几种情况。
(1) 并列复合句有时可不用连词,而用分号隔开(前后句之间的关系须相当紧密)。
e.g. We fished all day; we did nt catch a single fish.
(2) 并列连词后的简单句如果与其前的简单句有相同的部分,则相同的部分常可省略。
e.g. Snpy lives in his wn wrld and (Snpy) finds real life hard t understand.

When the teacher asks a questin in class, Wang Xiabin never raises his hand and this situatin is very cmmn at middle schl. This 15-year-ld by always waits fr ther classmates r the teacher t give the answer. “What if my answer is wrng?” Wang asked.
