(2)总结学习反义疑问句
2.能力目标:
了解东西方文化差异,学习在不同场合闲谈时哪些话题是安全的,哪些话题是应该避免的。
【教学重难点】
1.重点:学习闲谈时哪些话题是应该谈论的,哪些是不应该谈论的。
2.难点:反义疑问句。
【教学准备】
多媒体。
【教学过程】
Step 1: Leading – in.
At first the teacher asks the students: “What should you say to the people you don't know well?”
S1: Maybe I should say “Are you Li Lei's sister?”
S2: Maybe I should say “You are a teacher, aren't you?”
S3: …
T: OK. Let's look at 2e and choose the subjects you could ask to start the small talk.
Step 2: Pair work.
1.First talk about the small talk in pairs.
2.Then make up a conversation using one of the questions from activity 2e in pairs.
Step 3: Group work.
T: Think of situations where you have to make small talk. Discuss the situation in 3a. Put the phrases in the correct box.

Step 5: Explain the tag questions.
表示提问人的看法,没有把握,需要对方证实。
They work here, don't they?
1.当陈述部分有never, seldom, hardly, few, little, nothing等否定词时,后用肯定:
There are few apples in the basket, are there?
He can hardly swim, can he?
They seldom come late, do they?
2.当陈述部分是祈使句时:
Let's go out for a walk, shall we?
Let us go out for a walk, will you?
Turn on the radio, will you?
3.I think 加从句,反问从句。
I think chickens can swim, can't they?
I think Lucy is a good girl, isn't she?
I didn't think he was happy, was he?
4.反义疑问句的回答用yes, no但是,当陈述部分是否定形式时,回答要按事实。如:
They don't work hard, do they? 他们不太努力工作,是吗?
Yes, they do. 不,他们工作努力。
No, they don't. 对,他们工作不努力。
在回答反义疑问句时,不管问题的提法如何,若事实是肯定的,就要用yes,事实是否定的,就要用no。这和汉语不一样,应特别注意。例如:
You're not ready, are you? 你没有准备好,是吧?
Yes, I am. 不,我准备好了。
No, I'm not. 是的,我没有。
5.当主语是I, everyone, everything, nobody时,后面的疑问句应表示为:
I am a student, aren't I?
Everyone is in the classroom, aren't they?
Nobody will go, will they?
Everything begins to grow in spring, doesn't it?
