1.Review the wrds and have a dictatin.
2.Ask sme students t read the wrds fr class.
Step II. 1a-1b
1.预习检测
Students try t read the dialgue by themselves.
2.Learn the wrds they can’t read in the grups.
3.Check up the dialgue and find the wrds they can’t read.
4.Ask Ss. t read the dialgue. Then give the meaning.
5.Listen t the tape. First listen and say what they hear. Then repeat.
6.Listen and number the cnversatins 1-3.
Step III. 2a-2d
1.Listen and repeat.(2a)
2.Listen again and circle the numbers yu hear in 2a.
3.Listen again. Match the names, mnths and dates.
4.Check the answers.
5.Listen and repeat.
Teacher: Nw, let’s fill in the class birthday calendar.
S1: when’s yur birthday?
S1: It’s September 5th.
Teacher: Oh, OK. And hw abut yu, S2?
S2: July 4th.
Teacher: And S3?
S3: My birthday is January 17th.
Teacher: January 17th. OK. And S4, when’s yur birthday?
S4: August 22nd.

1.Write yur wn birthday in English.
2.Practice in pairs like this.
A: When is yur birthday?
B: My birthday is May 22nd.
3.Cmplete the dialgue in 2d, and practice in pairs.

A: When is yur mther’s birthday?
B: Her birthday is January 18th.
A: And when is yur father’s birthday?
B: His birthday is February 6th.
