七、教学步骤
1、热身 / 复习 (Warming-up / Revision)
老师利用PPT展示运动会上学生参加各项运动项目的照片,请学生用词描述照片里同学们正在做的事情。
T: These are some photos. Look carefully and tell me what are you/they doing?
S1: They are playing ping-pang.
S2: They’re playing tennis.
...
2、新课导入(Presentation)
1)PPT展示各类运动的图片,短语或句子,学生根据看的的信息快速说出对应的单词、短语或句子。如: play football,watch the games,play badminton,play tennis .The boys are playing football.
We’re playing ping-pong. They’re doing the high jump.
2)PPT运动图片,教师引导学生用句型:Is he/she V+ing ...; Are you/they V+ing ...
S1:Is he playing football?
T: No ,he isn’t.
S2: Are they playing tennis?
T: No ,they aren’t.
S3: Are they doing the high jump?
T: Yes, they are.
教授并操练新知do the high jump; Are they doing the high jump? Yes, they are./ No ,they aren’t.
用同样的方式教授 do the long jump,run fast
4)Let’s chant.
High jump, high jump.
They’re doing the high jump.
Are they doing the high jump?
Yes, they are. No, they aren’t
Long jump, long jump.
We’re doing the long jump.
Are you watching the long jump?
Yes, we are. No, we aren’t.

3.趣味操练(Practice)
1)Let’s play.
师播放图片,操练句型:Are you/they V+ing ...
及答语Yes, we/they are. No, we/they aren’t.
2) Let’s chant.
师播放录音带领学生读准hare,rare,square,share,care找出are的读音规律,师再列举几个含are的词(dare,bare,mare等)指导学生自己认读新词。
3)Listen and choose.
师带领学生完成活动手册64页习题。
八、作业布置(Homework)
抄写本课的重点句子2遍,四会单词各两行。
