中考中对并列连词考查较少，单项选择和完形填空均有涉及。选项设置有两种方式，一是并列连词辨析，二是并列连词与从属连词混合辨析。
知识点 1 并列连词 并列连词用以连接并列关系的词、短语及句子。 1. 表示同等关系的并列连词有 and，bth…and…，neither…nr…，nt nly…but als…等。 2. 表示转折关系的连词有 but，yet，while，hwever等。 3. 表示选择关系的连词有 r，either…r…,nt…but…等。 4. 表示因果关系、按理推理或时间先后的连词有 s，fr，therefre等。
注意： （1）and 和 bth…and… 连接两个并列的主语时，谓语动词通常用复数形式。 （2）neither…nr…，nt nly…but als… 和 either…r… 连接两个主语时，谓语动词在人称和数上要与第二个主语一致，即应遵循“就近原则”。
知识点 2 从属连词 从属连词用来引导从句，只起连接作用，不能充当句子成分。 1. 由 that，if，whether 等引导宾语从句。 2. 由 when，while，after，befre，until，since，as sn as 等引导时间状语从句。 3. 由 because，since，as 等引导原因状语从句。 4. 由 if，unless，as lng as 等引导条件状语从句。 5. 由 where，wherever 等引导地点状语从句。 6. 由s that，in rder that 等引导目的状语从句。 7. 由 althugh，thugh，even if，even thugh 等引导让步状语从句。 8. 由 s…that…，such…that…，s (that)… 等引导结果状语从句。
注意： 在时间状语从句和条件状语从句中，如果主句是一般将来时，则从句要用一般现在时。
·常见错误分析· 1. 连词搭配误用。没有掌握好连词的用法就容易出现这种错误。 2. 从属连词和并列连词同时使用。
